Only Christ has the foundational principles needed to gain success and freedom from bondage and enslavement. Some of our bondage is due to the lack of teaching and nurturance in our childhood. When we start our Christian life, we may not be taught the fundamentals to relieve ourselves of our past self-defeating behaviors and negative, abusive childhood experiences. Our behaviors and habits need correcting. Because of the chaotic challenges of our dysfunctional families and the need to cope, we e…

One of the most common expressions one hears in Christian circles, especially for reassurance when things aren't going well, is that "God is in control, He's still on the throne." Christians comfort themselves with these words—but what do they mean? Was God not "in control" when Satan rebelled and when Adam and Eve disobeyed, but now He is? Does God's being in control mean that all the rape, murder, war and multiplied evil is exactly what He planned and desires?

Suppose you were introduced to a promotion promising a direct line of communication with the Creator of the universe.
Let's say you're initially skeptical, but you also find the idea appealing. After all, who wouldn't want to be able to hear from and speak with God as though He were on one's cell phone? As you listen to the deal being pitched and peruse some of the literature, you realize that the key to this is the use of a ouija board. You push the literature aside and head for the exit.

DO this. . . DON’T DO this. . . Sex
"Finally, brothers we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality, that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the…

What is my strength,
“Job 6:11 What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life? Exodus 15:2. The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 23:25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren…

Read Matt: 7:1, 12-23 & 28-29
In these scriptures it is teaching us that in our walk with Christ we have to be real. We are not here to make judgement of one another. This journey is what we make it. In order to be able to continue in God's will we must be doers of his word. How can we be doers of his word?, we must read, study and do what the word teaches us.
Love is very important in our walk with Christ. We have to love each other, be kind to one another and also be willing to help e…

Jesus: I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! ~ Luke 12:49
**
Here is the kindle we need. John had prophesied it: "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire" (Matthew 3:11). Therefore, on the Day of Pentecost, God made sure He gave confirmation: "They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them" (Acts 2:3). It is a an empowering fire, a cleansing fire, a consuming fire, a purging fire. It is a fire…

I'm always working trying to help and don't always have time to run to the phone, answer the door etc. I'm sure you can understand what I am saying. Everyone seems to want my attention and they want it now. How can I be here and everywhere at the same time? Physically I can't but my knowledge and know how will be there.
Thank God for the Internet and Networks.

Why is everyone talking about sin?
What is sin?
Who is to say what sin is?
Is it wrong to break the law?
Of course it is, but does that make it a sin?
Is doing something wrong a sin?
Are the 10 commandants laws or is it an agreement between ourselves and an invisible person or spirit?
Who is to say what is wrong or what is right?
Who is to say the laws of the land are any different than the laws humans wrote?
What is and Who is will always be questions that have no right or wrong answers.
You sa…

I always walked everyday.
It was the best exercise I could get.
I stayed healthy and learned so many things on my life's journey.
When your in a vehicle you miss out on so many things that people don't even think about.
I drive to my friends and it is less than a mile.
I see nothing new.
I walk to my friends and what did I learn.
There was a pond and I always that it was just a puddle of water.
As I walked I could hear some noise and it sounded like water coming from somewhere.
As I followed the…

As a child you touched my heart, I felt unworthy
I moved from home to home, I felt unworthy
Loved one's all came and went, I felt unworthy
Friends did not stay around, I felt unworthy
Success was not for me to hold, I felt unworthy
I could not bear a child, I felt unworthy
I stood up for myself and got shot down, I felt unworthy
Everything I tried to do I failed, I felt unworthy
I stood alone and walked alone, I felt unworthy
Many causes did I try to fight for but only lost, I felt unworthy
I ho…

Love is kind,
Love is not jealous or boastful,
Love is not arrogant or rude,
Love does not insist on it's own way,
Love is not irritable or resentful,
Love does not rejoice at wrong,
Love rejoices in the right,

Love believes all things,
Love hopes and endures all things,
Love is all feelings,
Love hurts good and bad.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 7:38
Deep inside each of us, there is a river of life. This river is a wonderful gift given to each of us by God. It refreshes, renews and revitalizes our lives. I'm sure all of us have known people from time to time who defied all logic and stayed alive years longer than they should have. Or you may have known people who have been able to keep a positive outlook o…

I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow-workers, whose names are in the book of life. Phil. 4:2-3(NIV)
Churches, like any other people-packed organisation, are liable to encounter disunity, party spirit, anger, slander and lies.
Of course, such behaviour is wrong and damaging to the cause of the…
