MATCHING UP OUR WORDS WITH OUR ATTITUDES AND WITH OUR ACTIONS
I want to do the right things as I am speaking the right things.
I can't speak prosperity over my life and be lazy.
I can't speak healing over my life if I am going to live an unhealthy life style.
I can't be unloving to others and say…

To Christians, Christmas and Easter are the two most important days of the year. One commemorates the birth of Christ; the other remembers His death and resurrection. In order to honor the meaning of Christmas, many Christians decorate with Nativity scenes.
Every year in December we celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. That is why we call this time of year 'Christmas' - we celebrate the 'Mass', or church service, for Christ. The word Christmas (or Christ's Mass) comes from the Old Engli…

Luke 2.10 ~ I bring you good tidings of great joy. . . today. . . a Savior!!
Christmas Greetings to you, dear friend~
I bring you good tidings of great joy this morning, from Jesus--
Dear child, maybe now that your preparations are through, you can make some quiet to be with me. You will have to take the time, it won't just happen. Just as the townspeople of Bethlehem missed my birth all those years ago, it would be easy for you to go through Christmas, and miss me, too. Take time to worship m…

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the LORD.~ Luke 2:11
"Yes, LORD," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world." ~ John 11:27

There are places in the world where this is more readily accepted. Why? It is that they do not live in -- and therefore have not deified -- a democracy. They understand lordship because they have absolute rulers, with no public vote. Please do not misunderstand: democracy lead…

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. GOD IS WITH YOU... So, so, so sad that WE (I fall into it sometimes as well) as Christians fall into all kinds of negative stuff, Like depression etc...We all have good days and not so good days, BUT EVERYDAY IS GOOD - A DAY THE LORD HAS MADE. Choose to kill the giant, to let the Lord bring down the walls.
Let GOD'S AMAZING LOVE SHINE THROUGH YOU... SO WE CAN SEE HIM HIGH AND LIFTED UP...Rejoice! Today is what WE make of it, of course, depending on our relationship with…

Director James Cameron's new movie "Avatar," considered one of the most expensive movies ever made, on Monday saw its initial weekend ticket sales raised to $77 million in the United States and Canada.
The movie's box office performance has been widely watched given its cost. Sunday's initial estimates showed ticket sales at $73 million in the U.S. and Canada…

This spirit comes in when we commit idolatry. Yes, us. We may call ourselves Christians but we still sin and commit idolatry. The Israelites knew the Lord and sinned by idolatry (so many examples but one: 2 Chronicles 25:18). They are a shadow of us. We are doing the same thing. You may think you don’t bow down to an idol, but can you live without your boyfriend? Mmm. Can you give up your Bentley? Mmm. Can you let go your dream to get that PhD, you’ve wished for since you were 9 in the jungle of…

Jesus is the greatest person who has ever lived; each year we celebrate His Birth as the coming of our salvation.
Salvation is the greatest gift of all.
Salvation is the only gift that everyone really needs.
Salvation is presented to us as the ultimate Christmas gift in what is perhaps the best known verse of the Bible. Why not say that verse with me, it is John 3:16.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish…

SOME OF US WEREN'T BORN TO LOVING FATHERS...WE STILL HAVE ONE THAT LOVES US
Loving Father
Proverbs 4:1-10
Some people grow up in families where wisdom is modeled and taught by their parents. They have the privilege of receiving wise advice at home. Many of us grew up in families that were crazy. Our parents didn't provide wise guidance for us. This deprivation can leave us wondering how we can fill up the void of what we missed. We may feel like the rest of the human race has passed us by. Som…

I heard a song recently and the words said that Mary wrapped the first Christmas present to the world, her baby boy Jesus Christ in swaddling clothes. What a precious gift! Oh, to know the first present ever given was our Lord and Saviour.
Let's remember at Christmas the true meaning; that Christmas is truly about the birth of Jesus Christ, our Christmas gift given so long ago. By his birth, life, crucifixion and death on the cross at Calvary, the greatest gift ever given was His sacrifice to u…

Lyrics to Breath Of Heaven : Sung by Amy Grant
I have traveled many moonless nights,
Cold and weary with a babe inside,
And I wonder what I've done.
Holy father you have come,
And chosen me now to carry your son.
I am waiting in a silent prayer.
I am frightened by the load I bear.
In a world as cold as stone,
Must I walk this path alone?
Be with me now.
Be with me now.
Breath of heaven,
Hold me together,
Be forever near me,
Breath of heaven.
Breath of heaven,
Lighten my darkness,
Pour over me…

Before I began writing this particular piece, I spent much time in prayer about it. I prayed that God would give me His wisdom and an extra measure of gentleness in choosing of words. So I am not going to choose my words, I give God control of that.
Some of the words in this blog, He has decided for me, will be firm but truly out of love.
It’s about a Christmas tree!!!!
Yep, you read that correctly, a CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!
I was reading a worldly piece of writing yesterday and I read that for the P…

Nearer to Jesus - Sarah Young
If you learn to trust Me - really trust Me- with your whole being, then
nothing can seperate you from My Peace. Everything you endure can be put to good use by allowing it to train you in trusting Me. This is how you foil the works of evil, growing in grace through the very adversity that was meant to harm you. Joseph was a prime example of this divine reversal, declaring to his brothers: "You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good."
Do not…

WISE MEN SEEK HIM
After the angels proclaimed to the shepherds, ‘good news of great joy which was for all the people,’ the shepherds gathered their robes and hurried to the babe. Later, the Magi braved deserts and mountains to find him, bringing gifts. While we do not know how many wise men there were, we do know they brought three gifts . . . highly significant and symbolic gifts.
Gold. Frankincense. Myrrh. ‘With the exception of gold, the three gifts the Wise Men brought to the baby Jesus pr…

That is a very simple question someone would say, but if you think about it for a moment, you read some of the friends profiles, maybe some of the friends bloggs, and then you realise that all of them included me was going through a difficult time and you can hide it like in one movie play "Hide and Seek" about it, but while you read and saw the other person to whom they all chatting are seriously looking for a answer and just one day, if you go to your knees and seriously speak to God you'll fi…

There is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Proverbs 16:25
Some months ago I wrote a brief statement in the "TBC Notes" which was intended to
encourage our readers to make time for fellowship centered around the study of God's Word. It was amazing to see the responses such a note of encouragement could bring. While many were motivated to start or join a Bible study, others were quick to point out the various problems they'd encountered in…

The mysterious world of Pandora is as beautiful as it is dangerous, and it's that very combination that helped draw the masses to James Cameron's "Avatar," the director's first feature film in over a decade.
It's hardly surprising that the fantasy epic debuted in first place this weekend, dominating the closest competitor by more than $60 million. The 3-D flick was originall…
