Dear Rew:
No truer words where ever spoken. As a Gold Star Mother, I Praise Our Lord for His awesome Ultimate sacrifice, We would not be here if it weren't for Jesus Our Lord. But we need to remember those who died for our freedom as well. My Son Michael, and so many thousands through all Generations who has paid the ultimate Sacrifice that any human can do. has died for this country, and for Our freedom., and I say to God Be All The Glory. For what satan meant for bad, God has turned it into Good. Thank You Jesus for your Love, Mercy, and Grace. To God Be all the Glory!

Freedom...is like a rabbit hole (that is, what I have heard of them) it's never ending. People pay dearly every day to know and experience their individual concept of freedom. Some cross a small brook to obtain freedom; while others cross raging rivers, even an ocean; while others cross the great divide of family and cultural traditions to know freedom. This has been the path of freedom for centuries.

In a far off land known as Iraq, a US soldier possibly paid for our Independent freedom either with their life, or a choice that will for ever consume them. Did I stop to give account for this…for a brief moment, and then I was off to do the things that prosper me in my freedom. My glorious freedom that at present has no consequence for me; I rise and I go to bed in a safety that many have (had) no concept of in this present time (or pass); yet, I find myself pondering this question “ Who paid for your freedom”.

Who ever paid for my freedom in this earthly realm I hope that my life is honoring their burden for being in harms way presently; and for those in past scenarios who paid for “freedom”, may they have the honor to know that they picked up their cross and followed Yeshua. For true freedom is costly, a gift beyond value...so, who paid for “my” freedom…it was the LORD, and “He is now high and lifted up, and adorn with eternal glory”.
