HELL
*The English word hell is defined in our dictionaries as: the abode of evil spirits: infernal regions; place of eternal punishment or extreme torment; in ancient times, the place of departed spirits. “The word infernal means “ belonging to hell.” The word inferno is another word for the infernal regions; hell.” Gehenna is defined as “the place of future torment; hell; hell-fire.” Tarsus is defined as “the place of punishment in the lower world.”
Note: this is the definition I keep *Rich man & poor man. . One is in Paradise & the other is in torment. Luke 16”19-31. This is Jesus’ statement of Hell-Torment!. Keep * as the definition
There is No soul sleep! A person name not in Lambs book of life is not in a earthly grave he/she is in torment waiting for the White Throne Judgment & the 2nd death.
There are 7 Hebrew. And Greek Words translated Hell and Grave as follows.
1. Hebrew Sheol - the unseen world of departed spirits
2. Hebrew Queber -the proper word for grave, the seen world
3. Greek Hades, -the unseen world. It is equivalent to Sheol of the O.T. & is always in contrast with Mnaymion, -the seen world, or the place of bodies at death. Mnaymion meaning grave is never trans. Hell.
4. Greek Mnaymion –the proper word for the grave
5. Greek Gehenna – from Heb. Gay, gorge or valley & Hinnom, a Jebusite name. It means valley of Hinnom, where perpetual fires were kept to burn the refuse of Jerusalem. It came to be used by the Jews as an appropriate picture of eternal and eternal punishment.
6. Greek Tertaroo; - Latin, Tartarus, the deepest abyss of sheol-hades, the unseen world.
7. Greek Limnen tou puros – Lake of Fire the same as Gehenna of fire, the eternal hell, & perdition of all spirit, giant, pre-Adamite, Adamite rebels against God.
