All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I am sure those of you who know me at all know how much I love it here; and now, with this post, you all know that I love it here. There is so much to learn in this place, so many amazing people and a tremendous amount of love. We interact with each other, learn from each other, pray and cry with each other and all the while we praise God for this site and for the bonds of friendship we have formed and will form in the future. God is the center of it all no matter what and though there may be differences of opinions or interpretations, at the end of the day there is love.

I am sure also that I am not unique in saying each person here has certain people or a group of people that they interact with closely. As I hope you all know there is a chat room here and many of us go there to converse on a daily basis. We discuss everything, from the aerodynamical momentum of falling matter and its impact and aim on inanimate objects, to the end times and our preparation as Jesus' church body. We laugh and joke and console and pray. We get to know one another and share our good and bad times. Friendships have formed that, from where I sit, will last a lifetime. But most importantly we have learned to love those whom we have never seen. God says we must love one another as He loves us; He commands it. Yet until I found this site I had no real idea what it meant to love people I had never seen. God, thru this site is helping me to do that

The real treat for me came this past week when I was traveling back from a trip I had made to Florida. I contacted one of the members here on AAG who lives there and set up a meeting......an in person meeting with one with whom I have become great friends. There, just off the interstate, in a Huddle House, I met LT. For all of you that know him here let me just say this.....he is as awesome in person as he is here. Is funny how you normally have all these nervous anticipations of how something like this will be.....I did even after conversing for months here in AAG. Yet, I must admit, I experienced great comfort and for that brief time, enjoyed the personal fellowship we shared face to face. He introduced me to his daughter and as we ate and chatted I realized once again how truly awesome our God is. God is in the details. Tragedy brought me to Florida yet at the end of it all I was blessed to be able to meet a man whom I have looked up to and admired thru the internet. What an awesome God we serve!!!

If you ever get the chance to meet someone from here, take it!!

God bless you all and allow you to feel His love and that of your brothers and sisters,

Bev

...how wonderful! Praise God! I look forward to meeting all of you one day... If any of us are blessed to meet eachother before then..all the better.

I know what you mean about God teaching us love towards one another even though we have not met... These are real relationships...and God must be pleased. Thank you Jesus for these beautiful brothers and sisters....

Wow that is absolutely fantastic! I would leap at the oppurtunity to meet any or all of the wonderful people here. I know in my heart that some day we will all be together. The AAG picnic will be held in heaven and what a party that will be. I am so blessed by so many people here. Our Lord is creating new friendships here every day. Praise the Lord for his awesome Love for us! May our hearts and our ears stay open for God's voice for us.

I am so happy for both of you, what a treat that was i am sure. It also helps the rest of us know that God will set up meetings for us in His time. Can't wait for that time to come. I think that you expressed what most of us feel about being joined together here. These friendships we are forming are solid and real, not just virtual. Thanks for saying waht most of us feel

Felix, that would be awesome. Be sure to let us know where you are so we can do our best to hook up with you. It would be simply amazing to meet you in person and have an opportunity to fellowship with you over grits and coffee.

I like the example of learning to love people that we have never seen. Just like God has done for us and wants us to experience with others. I hadn't made the connection before. That was an awesome example. And I agree totally with the "Friends For Ever." I never expected to experience this level of friendship, support and love when I found this sight. And thankfully it far surpassed all expectations.
