All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

This is just an amazing story.

My 3 year old daughter is very shy and timid. She doesnt like Santa (she says its his beard) and she is scared of a majority of strangers, which I am ok with for the most part. My mom and dad watch her everyday while Myself and her dad work. Well, they went to Wal-Mart with her to do some shopping & my mom saw an old friend that she was talking to, he was tall with a beard and long hair. My daughter walked up to him and said to the man "Hi" and he replied with "hi there" Well, my mom was shocked because she never talks to anyone. So, she thought she knew him. So, my mom asked "Do you know him?" And my daughter said "Yes that is Jesus". They the both laughed! Then she proceeded to go through Wal-Mart singing "Jesus Loves Me".

I just had to share.

Love,
Vikki

Hi Vikki..

What a beautiful story! Thank you so much for sharing it. I think that one of the reasons God designs life as He does is to teach us grownups how to become children again.... Once children know Jesus, they do develop such a strong bond of Love for Him... it is the same with all children. That alone should teach us so much.

Blessings, Carla

Carol,
That is an amazing story. Thank you for sharing. I am very proud of my kids and thier love for Jesus. They did a study not too long ago with a picture of Jesus and a picture of Ronald McDonald and the majority of children didnt know who Jesus was, but they knew Ronald McDonald. That is so sad!
Praise the Lord, the more children we can help to get to know Jesus the better..
Lots of Blessings

I had something similar to your story. I was a Catholic at the time.My Little granddaughter Kaytlynn was asking me who is that man on the cross. I said to hr that it is Jesus. She said why did they do that to him, and I explained to her that Jesus went to the cross freely to take our place on the cross, because God knew we needed a Savior, and Jesus is Our Savior.

She said Nanny did we do that to Him, and I told her that it was our sins that put Him there. She ran up to this huge cross crying, and she yelled out in the middle of service I Love you Jesus, and she cried so hard. You can come down now. I Love You. The priest whom I had known for years came to kaytlynn and grabbed her hand and walked her to another cross, and said see Child, Jesus heard you. I never seen a Child Cry so hard for Jesus. The whole church were in tears. I cry every time I tell what she did. I was so very proud of her. She has a Love for Jesus since she was three. She says today Nanny if I shamed you I am sorry, but They had to take him down. He was hurting. Today she is almost 16, and her Love for Jesus has gotten stronger, and she lives for him. Thank You for sharing your story with us. It was very special.

If people could have the faith of a child? How wonderful it would be.

God Bless You
Love Carol
