TYPHOON ONDOY

Please pray for us and our country Philippines as we go through this difficult way to recovery. We were hit by typhoon ondoy last weekend and a lot of people died and properties worth millions were destroyed. You can google Ondoy or you scan the youtube for ondoy and you will see the damage this typhoon has done to us. Thank you for your prayers, my brothers and sisters.

Having survived a typhoon while stationed in Japan, we know little of the carnage unless we have suurvived a tornado or hurricane in the States. Stopping to pray for these folks now is nice, but we have responsibility to be constant in prayer for all who are not as blessed as we are - even to pray for those who are more blessed and lost.
What we really need to do is see if any of our local relief agencies are involved and if they are not, get involved to help them realize these needs.
