I AM
For Christmas and 2009 I wish you the Power of the Name of Jesus!
To Moses at the burning bush, God revealed His Name: I AM (Ex. 3: 14) He is the God of Now: He is ever present. He forgives the past, He will guide you through the future, but He is concerned with who you are and what you are going through right now!
As a Child Of The Most High God, I Can Say With Confidence:
I AM - A Child of God (Rom. 8:16)
I AM - Redeemed from the Hand of the Enemy (Ps. 107:2)
I AM - Forgiven (Col. 1:13…

"Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and
hill shall be made low; and the crooked shall be made
straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the
Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it
together; for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." (Isa.
40: 1; 4 - 5)
Whom would you compare Him to? (Isa. 40: 17 - 18) Those
who don't know Him may worship golden statues. But you, who
know Him want to broadcast to the world:
Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, th…

Would you like to have an extra dose of faith to overcome the situation you are in right now? Often people will say they wish they had the faith of a great healer or evangelist.
But, Jesus says that everyone has been given the measure of faith (Rom. 12: 3), and all that you need is faith the size of a mustard seed! (Mat. 17: 20) Why then, is it so hard to get your prayers answered, while others seem to have little or no problem?
First of all, being a person of faith and loving God, you know th…

Stress more often than not starts from worrying. If you are a chronic worrier, then chances are that you're under a certain amount of stress you may not even be aware of.
There are many self-help methods available to help reduce stress. These range from physical exercise, nutrition, optimistic attitude, meditation, etc. There is no shortage of literature on the subject of worry and stress, and that is good as it is very important to keep stress to a minimum.

“Ask of me what you will,” He said as He gently pulled me on His knee. My eyes were closed but I knew it was the Father. I was cocooned in a brilliantly white, warm, peaceful embrace. My hands were glowing hot and I knew instantly that I had received the gift of healing.
I would have loved to stay there forever. It was heavenly how His love flowed over and through me. This happened years ago, but I remember it as if it was a few minutes ago. In fact, over the years whenever I have felt down, de…

If God is your source, then why are you struggling to make ends meet? He’s Jehovah Jireh, your Provider (Gen. 22:14)
The world is full of solutions like focusing on your wants and they will be attracted to you. God’s solution is very different. He says to focus on Him and then everything else will follow. He has a plan for you, and He wants you to be follow His strategy.
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Take therefore no thou…

We are all born sinners. That means that we all owe God something in order to become whole. In the Old Testament He provided blessings by giving atonement for sins by the blood of an innocent, unblemished animal. This beast became the scapegoat so that they could be free to receive His blessings. Jesus came down from heaven to redeem you; to pay your sin debt once and for all. He became the scapegoat for your sins.
Jesus Christ died on the cross in order to forgive you and set you free. You in…

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
God hears your prayers and guides you - even in the worst possible circumstances. Oh, He’s so good! All I want to do is shout! Why? Because He surely is “the Lord that healeth thee.” (Ex. 15:26) and a “rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” (Heb. 11:6)
I must give God the glory for all the wonderful things He has done! For years I had been praying and standin…

We stepped into the sixteenth century, my daughter and I. The city of Quebec is celebrating its four hundred’s anniversary and we relished in their celebrations. We delved into historical monuments, ramparts, archeological digs, theatrical depictions of victories and defeats, and the yummy local French cuisine.
After its founder, Samuel de Champlain, set up a fur trading post in 1608, Quebec surrounded itself with ramparts. From its high promontory it had a strategic view over the majestic St.…

If the Victor is living in you, victory is not just a possibility. It's yours for the taking!
Are you a Christian and still wondering why you’re the victim of so many calamities? Life is not fair. The fact is that you’re living in an imperfect world inside a decaying body of flesh. How victorious is that!
But… you have the DNA of a victor! You may not feel like a winner because you’re subject to emotions, and they are controlled by the soul. First and foremost, though, you are spirit, infused…

I had a frightened call from Debbie yesterday. She was
totally beside herself. She had just gotten off the bus and
was at a physical as well as spiritual crossroads. She was
totally consumed with fear, crying and shaking
uncontrollably.
Someone involved in occult practices had threatened that,
if she did not follow through on a tentative promise she
had made, there would be consequences. Debbie, who had
recently accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, had
run out of that house fighting ag…

You are born helpless and needy, being totally dependent on nurturance from others. In fact, God has created you with a deep need that can never be satisfied until you turn to Him. One of His Names is El Shaddai, which means: God, the All-Sufficient One.
The Lord woke me up today with a jolt. Regardless of how well you know the Word and want to obey it, it’s not always easy to follow through, isn’t it? What do you do when the rent is due and you have nothing coming in, or when your spouse has b…
