Fericit Warrior for Christ Finding a Mate

"God's Plan For Your Life" Everyone longs to give himself completely to someone…to have a deep soul relationship with another…to be loved thoroughly and completely. But God to a Christian say, "No not until you are satisfied, fulfilled, and content with being loved by Me alone - with giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me: to having and intensely personal and unique relationship with Me alone; discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found -will you be capable of the perfe… Continue

James Lindquist SEEKING GOD pt1

PART 1 of 8 SEEKING GOD: Calling out to God The footsteps behind him were unrelenting and he was running as fast as he could. His lungs felt like they would explode at any moment, yet the swish of footsteps in the grass that followed him, didn’t lose a beat. In fact, they seemed to be closing the gap. Mere exhaustion would soon force him to stop and face his stalker no matter what the outcome. His heart raced and thre… Continue

James Lindquist SEEKING GOD pt5

PART 5 of 8 SEEKING GOD’S HEART: The Courtship of God The evening was a typically beautiful and peaceful night. A small breeze was blowing and seemed to be following a previous gust that had already passed through. David sat leaning against a tree trunk playing his harp and singing psalms to God and to his father’s sleeping sheep. His eyelids were getting a little heavy in the tranquility of the moment and he could probably drift off himself if not for the fact that the sheep were… Continue

James Lindquist SEEKING GOD pt3

PART 3 OF 8 SEEKING GOD'S HANDS:God's Provision Not long ago, I went to the beach for some much-needed R&R. I checked into the Proposal Rock Inn at Neskowin, Oregon, unpacked, and immediately headed for the wet hard sand. I stood there in awe and overlooked the ocean as the tide slowly but surely encroached on the land, devouring it inch by inch only to recede leaving the shoreline looking as though there was never an invasion of water. For centuries, the sea has drawn many… Continue

Susan Mathews Another Sad & Beautiful Day To Grow & Learn

Ok, everybody. I didn't go to church this morning. I was kinda burnt out after going to the study the other nite and just needed a break from ritual. I don't want my going to church to become a habit, or worse yet, a rut. I want it to feel new and fresh, and I actually want to go because I feel the urge to be there with the Lord and all my brothers and sister, and not because I am expected to be there. I was glad when Todd finally made it home yesterday. It was awful without him and I was overj… Continue

Susan Mathews Feeling Down

I heard from Todd yesterday that he wouldn't be home until the early morning hours of Saturday. I was bummed. I went to bed exhausted, from only God knows what, because I can't remember doing a single thing of use the whole day. When I awoke this morning I was still exhausted. I hit the snooze three times before getting up to take the girls to school. I woke my son up when I got back. He had an interview for a job this morning @ 10 and needed time to get ready. I wandered back to the living room… Continue

Rev. Adam and Prophetess Leza Are you having a hard time spending time with the Lord?

Do you sometimes find it difficult to motivate yourself to spend time with the Lord? When we think about that, it really doesn't make sense. God has all the power and all the wisdom that we could ever need. Why do we go and ask other people what to do about a situation when we should be asking the one who knows everything. I think some of it is because when we talk to another person, they are right in front of us. We can see them, hear them, and touch them. It doesn't take any faith to talk tContinue

peripheral Rust About Trust

From My Perspective - - - Inasmuch as this nation declares “In God We Trust” and pledges that we are “One Nation, Under God”, one would have the impression that foundational to our heritage would be a strong belief system that embraces a power greater than ourselves Who controls the affairs of mankind in the world. In a Presidential contest, we want to know the “church” a candidate attends and what an individual believes. It’s no secret that “religion” has been in the spotlight of the curreContinue

PrayerQuake Now, Why is it I am Praying?

Now, why is it I’m Praying? In Philippians 4:6 it says, Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God. Basically prayer is simply talking to God just like you would talk to your very best friend. God cares deeply about each and every one of our problems and is just waiting for us to come to him with those problems. The Bible tells us over and over to constantly bring our problems to our Heavenly Fat… Continue
