" Any Other day"
Christmas shouldn't be much different than any other day
We should think about the Savior as we go along our way
If you gave your heart to Jesus to have and to hold
If you told Him that your heart is truly His to mold
Then Christmas shouldn't be much different a day to celebrate
Than the ordinary days we'll bring to heavens gate
So lets all try to live each day as God would have us do
With peaceful hearts and hopeful minds let's lead each other through
And if we ask God…

God is not in a bad mood.
He not only loves you-He likes you. He is in a good mood because of you. Religious teaching tells many people that God tolerates born-again believers because He’s required to, because He wouldn’t be a good God if He didn’t have mercy on you. That is retarded. God gives you rest. Religion gives you work. Religion is only following a bunch of rules to make yourself right. Ask yourself whose standard you’re trying to attain. Are you soothing your own conscience?

1 Sin makes men cowards. Whatever difficulties the righteous meet in the way of duty, they are not daunted. 2. National sins disturb the public repose. 3. If needy persons get opportunities of oppressing, their extortion will be more severe than that of the more wealthy. 4. Wicked people strengthen one another in wicked ways. 5. If a man seeks the Lord, it is a good sign that he understands much, and it is a good means of understanding more. 6. An honest, godly, poor man, is better than a wicked…

(Inspired by Mike Murdock’s book, ‘The 3 Most Important Things in Your Life)
The Holy Spirit is the Source of Joy. His Presence brings joy. His fruit is joy. His Wisdom increases our joy. He is the Spirit of Wisdom. The pursuit of money, or having it does not produce joy. We cannot depend on our loved ones to create an atmosphere of happiness.
There are five misconceptions about joy. Many think joy comes from people, promotion, progress, power or possessions. The wise person discovers the trut…

There's no doubt in my mind that God wants those of us who are His chosen children to live in joy always. Not happiness necessarily, but joy always.
Happiness is merely a fleeting feeling dependent upon our circumstances, but joy is a possible condition of the heart
regardless of circumstances. How else could the Apostles have sung praises to the Lord while being tortured and murdered?
Jesus died to make it possibe for us to have the kind of intimate relationship with God our Father tha…

REST FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD
So there remains a Sabbath rest ( the repose of Christianity as a type of Heaven, abode, rest ) for the people of God.
For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested ( from work, from toil from making an effort or occupation, by implica…

God speaks to us in ways familiar. I have been holding on to a dead relationship with a man whom has a different faith than myself. We have been in an off and on for four years now. Friends have told me that, aside from not being equally yoked, that this person is getting in the way of other men whom might be more compatible with me. Recently, a man moves into one of the rooms that was avaiable in his house. My on and off rents a room in a house with other people. This new man and I have talked…

From My Perspective - - -
Most of us desire and want Tranquility rather than Turbulence. We trend towards peace and quiet rather than turmoil and noise. All of us have a built-in decibel level beyond which our comfort zones cannot stretch and/or go. Entering into this mix in our generation is Terrorism where Tranquility and Turbulence are not part of either the ambition or a core value of a Terrorist. Terrorism is suggested to have a narrow objective: “Their goal isn't necessarily to bring d…

As I was reading my bible I came across Philippians 4:6-7 is reads as follows :
6) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your request's be made known to God.
7) and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will gaurd
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I was angry at something my husband didn't do today. And I just was going crazy over
it. Usually, I tend to let my attitude show, but instead I chose to read my bible. Whil…

Before anything 'was', there was God"s Love.
He spoke & His WORDS hung the stars up above.
He created the world & made it perfectly for~
A people He would cherish, who would love & adore Him.
God"s desire was for fellowship, but was thwarted by man's sin.
Mankind lost the divine 'spark' of REAL love, within.
So, DIVINE LOVE came down, in the form of man's flesh,
To bear your penalty & mine, so we could start fresh!
Christ made a way on the cross for His Spirit to restore,
God's s…

"Be still and Know that I am God"
I was raised in a home where there was little stillness. Actually, there was no stillness. There was anxiety, fervor, tension, and always the answer to problems was to do more, to scurry faster when things were not going right. The way of doing things was to react, sharply, to negative situations.
For twenty years now as a Christian, I have been learning from Christ and his word how to un-learn that pattern. But, the things we learn in childhood can be so powe…
