Why Won’t God Heal Me?
This is a partial chapter in the book God has blessed me to write titled "I'M A CHRISTIAN...NOW WHAT?"
In the Prayer Ministry we have seen hundreds of miracles. Sometimes these miracles occur “spontaneously”. Usually after inquiring, we find that the miracles only seemed to be spontaneous to the outside observer. In most cases the miracles occur after much prayer and study…sometimes after years of it.
Why? The answer is that it is God’s Judgment…It is His Will at work…H…

I'd like to share with you a prayer by Pr Onesmus. This is the path of his latest devotional conviction.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lord, take a look at my hand.
Take a look at my heart.
Mold it and refine it and set me apart.
I want to run to Your altar to catch the fire,
to stand in the gap for the lost world.
Give me a heart of comp…
That may be the single most important question in the whole Bible. Indeed, perhaps the most important question anyone could ever ask to us. The truth of all the great claims Jesus made depends on His identity. The application in our lives depends on how much we believe and trust what He said, and what He is.
"Who do people say the Son of Man is?"
The world has given different answers throughout history:
"Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of…
Authority, Do you feel as though you have authority. You do, you know. Do you speak with authority. What is it, how do we get it, and why do we need it? That is the subject of this study, today.
Listen to a story from Luke about an interesting occurrence in the life of Jesus that is largely concerning this issue of authority. Usually, this area of scripture is taught concerning "faith", and it is about faith. Jesus even refers to it in this passage, but I want us to look at "the thing" that…
Hey, my family in Lord Jesus, this is Moon Willow (or Cheyenne). Looking for Angels....for most of us, especially my generation only thinks of it as the song from Skillet. I believe it has meaning for all of us....As Christians, we are all also sinners, every human being is one....whether they are a child of God or not.
We all falter and feel guilty about it....that guilt can become worse and twist and morth into worry and doubt. When we become oppressed with this doubt, we are struggling and r…
Breathe and Push
Change was taking place, something bright, something new.
A life was taking shape, but what is was, no one knew.
No one expected, no one prepared, just another day in another life.
Business as usual it seemed, until something wasn't right.
Sickness in the morning, a great hunger in the afternoon,
A change was taking place, that much, to her, unfortunately was true.
"What is going on with me? Why do I look and feel this way?"
"Life was better before this happened," that, she…
I just came in from feeding and watering my animals. It often dawns on me that I am to them what God my Father is to me. The animals depend on me for shelter, food, water and love. In the same fashion, I depend on Father for the same things. He feeds me, He walks with me, He shelters me and more. I know that I must be the "alpha" to them. Especially, with my dogs. They have a pack mentality. I am the leader of their pack. They follow me and know my voice, just I know the voice of God and follow…
Praise the Lord for this new day!! His mercies are new every morning. Ahhhh!! We can start again, leaving yesterday's hassles behind, and tackle the things that bothered us then with a new vigour and a fresh mind. Thank the Lord for a refreshing sleep.
And as I sit with Lord on our front verandah, enjoying…
I haven't really been feeling I want to write for a while, but now I do.
This things I am sharing with you can't be shared with those who can know and see me.
Now I really am trying to disciple myself and have holier life to please God,
As Bible says "Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spirituala act of worship"-Roman 12:1
"Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:sexual immorarilty, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which…
A chronic menstrual disorder. A perpetual issue of blood. Such
A condition would be difficult for any woman of any era. But
For a Jewess, nothing could be worse. No part of her life was left
Unaffected.
Sexually..she could not touch her husband
Maternally – she could not bear children.
Domestically-anything she touched was considered unclean. No washing dishes , no sweeping floors.
Spiritually—she was not allowed to enter the temple.
She was physically exhausted and socially ostracized.
She had…
ROADS IN THE DARK
Roads in the dark
Should not cause fear
If your faith is strong
If your mind is clear
Roads that lead
To a place you seek
At times are dark
Unknown and bleak
Fear exists to test the soul
To negate a cherished goal
From unknown threats
We can’t abide
Unless we stop
And quail and hide
From desired results
And in comfort lay
A fearful rest
Day to day
Contented with
Dreams so grand
Exploring not
Uncharted land
Fatal not
Are mo…
FAITH TOOLS
Satan can plant thoughts into our minds. One good example is when Cain was contemplating murdering his brother Able. God came to Cain and basically told him to not even think those thoughts and if Cain would turn himself around he would find an exaltation…because where the mind wanders actions will follow. (Gen.4:6&7 – Php. 4:7)
There are only two powers…God and satan. If our thoughts are not from God…they are from satan. (Gen. 3:15)
God does not want us to be depressed or anxi…
SPIRITUAL WARRIORS CREDO
(We Believe)
You know who we’re talking about, that One who cannot lie
He’s the One who gave us life; He’s there when we cry
He’s there when we laugh and sing and find His joyful fruit
He knew us before this flesh; He gave to us this suit
In times of faithful promises, we call Him Father God
Profundity He brings to us, He made us from His sod
The pain and anguish the serpe…
Do you ever exhibit boldness and wisdom when challenged about your beliefs in Christ? Does your passion and obedience to share the truth of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ crumble at the sight of danger ahead for your life? What about the Savior? He spoke the truth they rejected the message and it cost him his life.
In the book of Acts chapers 6-8 we read about Stephen one of the seven chosen out of the twelve for a food ministry to the widows. He was a man of great faith and Holy Spirit. S…
This study on Salvation goes hand-in-hand with my posted article "SALVATION: THE FREE GIFT".
Below are listed all the scriptures I've found concerning the truth about salvation and eternal life.
I believe this study will eliminate the "eternal security vs. conditional salvation" confusion for anyone interested. And I not only welcome comments on this, I covet them whether positive or not. "Iron sharpens iron".
Remember, excerpts from God's Word are merely pointers referencing context, a…
We've probably all heard this question: If God exists, why doesn't He just prove Himself to us?
Every belief that each and every person has is based on only one of two things: It's either based on proof, or in the absence of proof it's based on a chosen belief. Any chosen belief without proof is a type of "faith". Therefore, I conclude that every belief each of us holds is based either on hard proof or on faith.
Proof is irrefutable evidence of fact, and our belief about it is determined for u…
Have you ever been skydiving? Would you like to know what it's like? This is a true story.
I've jumped three times, all solo, and I'd do it again. Don't worry - any potential for injuries are greatly minimized by the mandatory training you receive before your first solo jump. Yes, there's training required. Wouldn't you rather have it that way? If not for the jumping, at least for the landing? You train all day then you make your first jump right afterwards.
The jumpmaster is the experienced j…
1John 5:
1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his
child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of
God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes
the world? Only the one who belie…
