All through the Word we are told, “ take courage,; take heart; be of good cheer; be comforted.
John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Ps 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! Mark 6:50 because they all… Continue

From My Perspective - - -
There is another dimension to the subjects of jocularity, humor, jokes and happiness, namely, the Therapeutic. The idea is gleaned from Proverbs 17:22, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” A similar thought is shared in Proverbs 15:13, “A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.” There is a connection being made between the psychological and the physiological. It is not an artificial… Continue

Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there…

The Great Race
by Susan Cummings
The crowd was buzzing and the excitement was in the air. There were many people lined up along the highway, crowded together, as they waited for the race to end. Many had been waiting for a long time, and they were ready for the end to come. Others had come in little by little, and now the crowd had swelled to a great crowd.
The race had been running for awhile, and there were many entries.…

He is genuine love
He has a big heart
He knows how to cheer you up
He can raise you up when you are feeling down

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....
The race began....
Honestly:
No one in the crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such…

We all know it started with Adam and Eve,but yes one of the biggest pains and hurts in our lives will come from the opposite sex. Yes most men like women and most women like men. Reality is there has to be mutual attraction,it will never work if he likes her but she doesnt like him or she likes him but he doesnt like her. Women get hurt by men she often gets sympathy from all angles. They be like oh you can do better than him, anyways stuff like that to cheer her up when she gets hurt by men…

Job 29:1-25 (MSG)
1 Job now resumed his response: 2 "Oh, how I long for the good old days, when God took such very good care of me. 3 He always held a lamp before me and I walked through the dark by its light. 4 Oh, how I miss those golden years when God's friendship graced my home, 5 When the Mighty One was still by my side and my children were all around me, 6 When everything was going my way, and nothing seemed too difficult. 7 "When I walked downtown and sat with my friends in the…

Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.

I met my first love 21 years ago. When He came into my life that day, my world changed. I was filled with indescribable joy! My spiritual eyes were opened and understood things I never understood before.
He always filled my mind, every second, every minute, every hour. He captured my heart that all my being and existence revolved around Him. I can't stop talking about Him. Even in my sleep, He is in my dreams, and every waking hour, He is whom I always think about.
I…

If you are going through a flood, and I'm not referring to flood that happens through nature. But I am talking about spiritual flood. Floods could be anything that is just trying to take over your life. You don't even have any control how to stop it from flooding your life. But guess what the good news there is always hope in Jesus. Let's look at Psalm 18:4- The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. David was obviously going…
