Mark 12:29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is the first commandment 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
God is omnipotent (all powerful) . God is omniscient (all knowing). God is omnipresent (present everywhere).
God is a spirit, eternal and ever living. He has no beginning or end. God is love, He is the essence of love, He is also righteous judge, totally fair in all He does.
God is our Father, our creator, the one who causes everything to be, who made the sun and the moon, everything in heaven and everything on earth were created by Him. For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have an everlasting life.
Ephesians 6:12 (King James Version)
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

- My story with God
- I came to America at the age of 21.. My first six years of marriage, were wasted on watching late talk shows like Oprah, etc.. . One night.my husband suggested to me to watch the 700 club. I hated Pat Robertson for no reason and the miracle now is that I love him so much and so thankful for using such program like the 700 club to reach such a wicked sinner like I was. In August 1993, I visited my family in Lebanon, spent two weeks there, was happy to see everybody but empty at the same time. And one night at my brother's house, while everybody else slept, is the time I asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me. I lifted my two hands up, prayed like the way I saw and heard so many people on the 700 club giving their lives to Jesus, asked Jesus to come into my heart & forgive me for everything. told Him that I believed in His death & resurrection, asked Him to come & take full control of my life. Praise God, He did. When I opened my eyes I saw and heard like a dove shooting from the window, as fast as lightening. I sensed this awesome presence that was beyond my comprehension at the time (now I know and believe it was and is the Holy Spirit) . At that moment, I had peace & joy that was unspeakable, felt loved. looked around and saw everything was beautiful, I remember saying, "How beautiful the decor of my brother's wife. ” The next day, my mom & sister asked me what I was using on my face for makeup. They said it was glowing. My Mom said this awesome statement that I hold dear to my heart: "I know you are going to see your kids in few days & you must be happy to go back to them.". Also, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a distant relative who visited the same day my mom said that to me, looked at me and marvelled at how peaceful I looked and that was the first time I ever met her.
When I returned home to America, was so happy to be back, was excited to go to church, read the bible, I called my other sister in law here in America and asked her to explain to me her beliefs. She is a born again Christian. She directed me to so many scriptures, how Jesus is the only way. bless His name.

- I am happily married for over two decades. Blessed with three kids who love and honor the Lord. Christ words are what matters to me and looking forward to see Him in heaven when my time comes.

My God and my Dad
My Mom was older when she got pregnant with me and me being the 8th child did not help very much. She was tired and did not want anymore children. She told me that she wanted to have an abortion( she did not know what abortion was all about like we do today). She told me that my dad fought her on the idea of aborting me and was furious. He did not let her get her way, thankfully.

The power of thanksgiving. Written by Therese.
A week ago, this relative of mine called me on the phone, we talked for two straight hours, the only reason why we got off the phone because her legs got numb from sitting too long( she is an older person, and needs to know that Jesus took her place on the cross and soon) After we said goodbye to each other, I felt sadness, like depression came over me mixed with so many emotions that I did not want to entertain at all.
