CDs to Benefit Our Friends at GQ and AAG

Friends,

As you know, I am a songwriter, and lately I have felt God leading me on an exciting new path. So I'd like to tell you about it. I have been taking the words to old hymns and reworking them with new music that I hope will appeal to more modern audiences. I am nearly ready to record these songs, but I do not have the money to fund the project.

My story with God

As a musician, I was bound by a powerful need to perform for and please people. When, partway through college I had to give up playing my instrument (trumpet) due to a nerve injury, I went through a deep depression for several years. I tried and failed at several other pursuits, and became very sad. But God faithfully led me into the Scripture, and I discovered that reading about Him and His nature brought me out of the darkness and I found joy in just knowing Him. Not performing, or working for Him, just knowing Him and marveling at His beauty. Now I know that just loving Him, knowing His love and making Him known to others is all I want to do. I don't feel the need to make much of myself anymore - my real joy is in the knowledge and study of Himself. And if that were not enough, He even redeemed my musical talents and restored joy to me in that area as well. Now I sing, write songs, and revise old hymns. "Heaven above is softer blue, earth around is sweeter green, something lives in every hue Christless eyes have never seen. Birds with gladder songs o'erflow, flowers with deeper beauties shine since I know, as now I know, I am His and He is mine."

Other stuff about me:

I like kittens, pasta dinners and forests in the fall.

Have you been to India ? which church you attend back home

Past 14 years I was with Ywam but God has led on my heart burden for my own people right now Iam in church planting ministry reaching to the unreached in our state of maharashtra its difficult but God is at work we have house churches called King of kings fellowship it’s a non-dinomination faith ministry but by Gods grace its growing
