My story with God

My past is the perfect example of the words,"Messed Up".I come from a broken home and all throughout my life,I was sexually abused by my brother.This went on for 18 years,and I experienced sex at a very young age,when I was supposed to be a child,enjoying the childhood that was supposed to be experienced,especially for a girl.I had tried to tell my mother what was happening to me,but she just shunned me off.I had hated her for many years because she didn't protect me the way she was supposed to.My dad just didn't care.The days that were the most horrible were the nights when my brother would pick my lock.I remember asking God as I sat on the floor of my room why this was happening to me and to help me.That help didn't come until I was 18 years old.When noone was there to help me,I became rebellious;not listening when I should have,fighting my mother,turning to prostitution,sniffing,drinking and taking all kinds of drugs.Even trying to commit suicide.I had done all those things so that I wouldn't think of them.It eased the pain I was going through.I had even started to cut myself up,and when I did that,I felt better.My first marriage didn't work out,either.It ended up in a divorce just so that my child could have a father figure.I had him when I was 18.I started hating all men,even betraying them,telling them that I was pregnant with their child,even though I wasn't.It was at a point when I told someone I was pregnant with twins.It went on for nine months;then when the time came I told them that I had lost it.This went on for years.My uncle had even abused me;he is now an elder at my church back home.I was so hurt when he had told the people he was saved for 35 years.How can a person even say that,when it isn't even true?!After all these things happening to me,I had become schizophrenic,seeing things and having conversations with someone who wasn't there,sitting on the street corners;I had gotten fat. I had weighed in at 285 pounds.I am now 170.After all my years of loneliness and emptiness i felt within my soul, I knew there was something else out there.I was almost killed by a former boyfriend,which now left me with an injured spine,not able to have any more children.Then I thought;my life has to change.I used to live in the back of a church and I heard this wonderful music.I used to sit on the outside of the church,which finally led me inside.I then got saved.When I got saved,I had literally seen worms crawling off my body.No more pills,no more bad dreams,no more sitting in the street corners talking to someone who wasn't there and no more yelling and hollering for nothing.I know now that there is a miracle working God.i also know there is a devil,because I had experienced it inside of my body when I had backslidden. I felt the devil take over my body, from my head all the way down to my feet. I was paralyzed from my waist down and I thought my head was going to bust. The one thing I did at the time was scream "God help me!" repeatedly. If I have not done that, the devil would have surely killed me.I have even literally smelled the stink of Hell.And then I dreamt of Heaven. I have seen my late grandpa and I saw the grass how green it is!! I do not even see that color green anywhere;But praise the Lord that he is doing many miracles in my life today,and am getting stronger.I now yell and holler for the Lord and not the devil. I now have experiences that one day am going to share. Right now, I am seeking the Lord....

Other stuff about me:

I have one child. He is 20 years old. I am married once again to a wonderful man.It doesn't matter what people say about us having been married twice because it's not people who we serve,but God. I have 3 step-children with him. We both come from a divorce with other partners;even though we get condemned in the church by other christians,we still go on for the Lord. I am a shy person. I have 1 sister and 3 brothers. My mother died of drinking in 2003. My father re-married to my best friend. I work as a carpenter in a millwork warehouse,which involves men and they are very criticizing,which is very hard to handle.
