My story with God
Having had an intermittent relationship with God over the years, being bound by condemnation and falling away I have finally been freed because of the revilations of my Father whom has shown me that in him there is no condemnation.
We live under a new covenant with him purchased by the blood of my brother Jesus Christ.
A gift not earned by our efforts in keeping his law or our deeds, but a pure and undeserved gift given to us through Jesus that we only need call apon his name, ask for his forgivness and love him with all our heart all our mind and all of our strength, loving those to whom he loves our neighbours, our brothers and our enemies.
Gods immense compassion and forgivness beyond all human understanding. Forever be the praise to him. Amen

Sis maggie...here is the Scriptural reference we were talking about. It is basically trivia...not important to salvation...but interesting.

Nephilim, Genesis 6:1-8

6 Now it came to pass, (Gen.1:28) when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God(Angels, Job 38:7) saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they (Deaut.7:3-4) took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.
3 And the LORD said, (Gen 41:38, Gal. 5:16, 1 Peter 3:19-20) “My Spirit shall not (2 Thes. 2:7) strive with man forever, (Ps.78:39) for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were (Hebrew word nephilim, fallen or mighty ones), giants on the earth in those (Num.13:32-33, Luke 17:27) days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent 4of the thoughts of his heart was only evil 5continually. 6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His (Mark 3:5) heart. 7 So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

The Devil & the Duck
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm..He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods.

He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target.

Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.

As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved!

In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his Sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, 'Sally, let's wash the dishes'

But Sally said, 'Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen.'

Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?'

So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, 'I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.'

Sally just smiled and said, 'well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help?

She whispered again, 'Remember the duck?' So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help. After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he finally couldn't stand it any longer.

He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck.

Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, 'Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.'

Thought for the day and every day thereafter:

Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that:
God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing.
He has seen your whole life... He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets.

It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.
When Jesus died on the cross; he was thinking of you!

And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]! Isaiah 30:18 Amplified Bible

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] John 14:27 Amplified Bible

Its all in a name...

For all the religious bunnies out there with burning ears, turn away now....

What is in the name Daddy?

Having been raised to call him 'God' and then raked over the coals by many to call him Jahovah..confused by the correct pronunciation YWEH or what ever ..which sounds yahweh....

confused?..I was..

Father sounded so...spare the rod...to put it in the simplest terms..

So I decided to give it a whirl..

"Daddy" I said, "If it is dissrespectful to call you Daddy, please let me know..

I conti… Continue

Can atheism exist in a court room?

Here is a question..

Where did the court system originate?,
By who's design, or standard was it set to meet?

My thoughts that is that the court was designed in ordinance to the Torah, to give justice to all people whom where affected in the breaking of the Torah.

Specifically of note the Ten commandments.

Yet in todays culture it seems that God has been given little, to no place in the court room...

Why then the swearing of the bible?

Yet another question...if it is as a result of the Tora… Continue

In the heat of the fire..press on in victory!

What can I say but 'press on'!
If we only knew that pressing through the enemies attacks we would be made stronger and more richly blessed!
We are in this world, but no longer OF this world.

The attacks we face now have no way to succeed in truely destroying us, in fact these attacks are a tremendous advantage in our lives.

Because our Father promised us that all things would work together for the GOOD of us, whom love him and are called according to our purpose.

We keep forgeting..
1) we do… Continue

Fear......

Fear and doubt are the seeds of the enemy, his primary tools to take from you what can not be taken... do not let these seeds of fear take root in you.

Romans 8v15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"

The Kingdom was earned for you at calvary cross, the inheritance is yours, all the fruits of the spirit are yours, the good gifts (treasures) from the Father through his Holy spi… Continue

We need to adopt a number 8 wire attitude!

The same complacency that consumes the sinners heart can so easily blind us to the realities that surround us of just how much we miss the mark.

Sinners don't realize how bad it is, how much trouble they are in, and just how much they dangle above the flames of hell laying in wait to consume them at any moment.
Because they have been deceived into believing so many lies.

Lies of self assuredness, of provision by their own hands, strength and might by the power of self, lies given them by the e… Continue

Close the door!!

Dear Brother's and Sisters in Christ,

It has become so apparent to me that there is a very real draft that is blowing through the cracks in our Christian lives.
A simple and yet common lie the enemy uses against us, especially those new in Christ.

The belief that once our sins have been atoned for by the mercy and grace given us by our Lords sacrifice, that we must then fulfill the requirements of our Fathers law by our own efforts, lest we be struck down in that moment of sin!

We expend our… Continue

Eating disorders, Depression/Anxiety and disfunctional thinking.

WE ARE MORE THEN CONQUERERS!!

I am 33 years old, I have struggled with bulimia since I was 9 years old.
Depression began around the same age.
Anxiety was present for the very real circumstance I faced day to day from an even earlier age, but really became a problem around age 9.

I use the term 'struggled' because I really made genuine efforts to become 'well' and free from these chains that bound me. Anyone who has suffered from either of these issues knows that this is not so easy done, even… Continue

WHERE DID GOD GO?

How many people struggle with feeling disconnected from God?
How many of you are struggling right now with feeling as though our Father is not listening to you?
That he has done a disappearing act and left you for dust?
How many people are struggling with this sin, or that sin and feel like if they see their sin and don't like it, then likely their God is disappointed and unhappy with them.
Maybe even feeling like they are just one mistake away from God calling the whole salvation thing off?
How… Continue

Please read, my work in progress...

I am filled with joy to overflowing because of our Father, because my depression is gone!!

He has shown me the key to happiness.
Read:(1 Chronicles 16:11) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.)
So why seek the face of a God no one has ever proffessed to see??

Faith is understanding our Fathers true nature as a good father, the giver of good gifts, the one whom has only the best desires for our life and our hap… Continue

A treasure keep of my Grandmothers.

The Weaver
My life is but a weaving
Between my Lord and me;
I cannot choose the colours,
He worketh steadily

Oft-times He weaveth sorrow,
And I, in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper,
And I the underside.

Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Shall God unrol the canvas
And explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful,
In the weavers skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares--
Nothing this truth can dim;
He gives the very best to those,
Who leave the choice with Him.
