I quite agree the christian book stores are very high priced so I generally go to my library and do research there but would like to get some books to keep for reference

Hi Lindsey, I saw your prayer request and my heart went out to you. Last April I lost my mom, my sister-inlaw, and a close friend all within a couple of weeks. I felt so lost but thanks to God and all the support I received from Church family and the AllaboutGod family I was able to get through it.
God understands our grief and even Jesus wept as he saw his friends mMartha and mary weeping over Lazareth even though he knew he was going to raise him up. I really took comfort in the fact that God does know how very hard it is to loose those we love.
I pray for you Lindsey that the Holy Spirit will give you grace to get through this tough time. Father touch my Sisters heart and help her this day to find your comfort in her time of loss in the name of Jesus amen.

My deepest sympathy with your loss. May God grant you peace and may you be comforted by Him
It is not easy to work through this. I lost my parents 4 months after the other, Firts my mom and then my dad. It was hard and although it is now 9 years afterwards I still long to chat to them and remember all the good and even bad times but with the wonderful thought they rest at peace with the Lord and I know when He come to tak me home I will see them again.
Dont be to hard on yourself, you are still in mourning but dont harbour on the thoughts but work through it with the help of JEsus by you side He will give you rest and peace!!
Thinking of you and pray God will restore the hurt and place joy instead.
