- My story with God
- 03/2009: I have to do an annex to my story with God. Since He lead me to this site, my walk in Him has grown by leaps and bounds. I have been blessed with numerous friends, that have just been waiting for me. God takes over my fingers on the keyboard as we talk and fellowship with each other. God is growing me and I am becoming more and more in tune with Him. There are still many areas of my life where i struggle but those struggles are not as insurmountable as they seemed in the past. My story with God begans with His forgiveness and forgetfulness of my sinful past and his tolerance of the sins of the present and the future. He gives me insight to know that i do not want to sin, but i will do so being human. What i know now is that I just have to run to him.
A very wise man told me today, that as we mature we grow in some areas but yet we are still infants in other areas of our walk with God. May i use my maturity to accept my infancy and rest in God's powerful arms at all times.
God called me to be a nurse and I am a very good effective nurse. I can give Him my professional life, but I find that i can't hand over my personal life and that is where my problems come in. I want to let go and let God, but i need so much help doing that.
- Other stuff about me:
- I was raised as a southern baptist but find that i call my self a nondenominational Christian. I do have a personal relationship with God, that i want to be more intimate than it is.

It was good to chat briefly with you today. I am saddened about your troubles, and hope and pray that God will strengthen you a little bit every day. I have been hit with a depression these past 4/5 months, and I am much much better now. Perhaps the medication I am taking has hit the right spot. But it was hard, so in a little way, I can understand how it might be for you. But really it is hard to know what others are experiencing. Only God knows how you are "feeling" inside yourself, and how it really is for you.
I hope you come into chat again. It was strange today, because I have seen Bev in a bit, but today she spoke with me, and then you were there as well, and we chatted.
I see Carol there a bit, but she is quiet, so I am thinking that perhaps something has changed in the room, or between former regulars.
I almost think that there are one or two here now that seem to run the show. Maybe I am being judgemental. I can be, so I am not going to be too dogmatic. I just have my feelings on the subject.
Well I will look forward to seeing you again. I hope and pray for some good recovery for you. My wife had a stroke when she was 27 years old. It was only a mild one, and she has been ok these past 13 years.
God's richest blessings to you Janet, for this Christmas season, and for the coming days. His coming is near. Not a lot of time left, so may He bless us in our troubles, and strengthen us all till the end.

This is Bruce...the engine, from months ago. How are you? You were there the other night but when I greeted you you ran away. I have found a similar situation with Carol, who has been in on a number of occasions, but hasn't wanted to talk. Has something happened in the room, since I've been away. I hope all is well. I hope that you are well, and enjoying your life, and have found many blessings in the Christian walk.
