Interests:

Learning to knit or crochet. I enjoy baking, cooking, reading books to help better my relationship with God, and my husband, bible studies, working with children at Sunday school. Finding bargains.

I'm passionate about...

Worship music. I love to sing songs for Him, about Him, to Him. Becoming a better wife to my husband.
Teaching my kids about the love of God. And sharing Him with anybody I can't. I am passionate about stepping out of my shell and evangelizing with my husband. Pray that I do it in His precious and holy name, soon!

My story with God

I met the Lord in '86, and came back to him in 2002 after another dead end relationship. God was after my heart the whole time, I just wasn't paying attention to what He was telling my heart. One day I woke up in despair, I had had the break up, I was two weeks out of surgery, I had to take oxy contin for the pain. The was excruciating but the oxy was worse, it kept me in a dark depression, so dark that I put the pills away and deal with the pain. I thought I could continue my life without God, and without pain medication. Wrong! I attended my girlfriends church where I re-established my relationship with Christ, didn't need the pain meds at all. He started a fire deep in my soul. I set out to get to know Him and I did, eventually, I left that church attended a few other churches before I found my home church with Calvary Chapel. Now here I am! I serve in Children's Ministry, I teach the first grade, and I love it! I enjoy being a part of the kids learning about God.

Other stuff about me:

I met my husband at a bible study at Calvary Chapel, six months before I started attending Calvary permanently. I knew he was mine the moment we shook hands. We didn't start dating until two years later, four months after that we were married, and here we are two years later. Loving God, serving Him, and in ministry. I have a grown son with a daughter in law, he has a teenage daughter we call them all "our kids." We are blessed to have a new baby in our lives, he is our pride and joy!!
