I love to fellowship with others. I enjoy reading books by Christian Authors, listening to Christian music, watching a few choice reality shows (not too much though) and ministry.

My ministry opportunity through my beloved church. I love God and I have a desire to teach others what God has revealed to me and taught me.

My story with God

I grew up in a church going family. (We're Pentecostal) However once I hit 18 years of age I drifted away from the teachings of my youth. I was rebellious and a little wild. I spent most of my adult life (I'm 37 as of this writing) in and out of church. I don't think I ever truly gave myself completely to the Lord until 2006. In 2005 He pursued me and opened my eyes to the sin I was living in. In 2006 my beloved 26 year old sister-in-law passed away suddenly. My brother re-dedicated his life to God and I followed suit because I realized my life was empty and I was missing something. I needed God and especially after the sudden death of my sister-in-law. My whole family re-dedicated their lives to God and we have been serving God ever since. In May 2007 I went through a painful experience in the church I was serving in (Also as a Women's Ministry Leader) and ultimately left the church. I sat out of church for 5 months. Lonely, confused, hurt, angry, and depressed. In Oct 2007 the Lord forgave me for my rebellion and restored me. I have been serving God in a new church He led me to and am now the Women's Ministry Leader of our Dove Ministries where I am teaching and reaching others. I love God so much for opening my eyes and restoring my hardened heart. I am a sinner saved by grace, there's nothing special about me but the Lord loved me and others like me to give us the opportunity for Salvation. I hope I never neglect my Salvation again.

Other stuff about me:

I am Native American. Single parent of two teens ages 18 and 16. My son (the 18 yr. old) serves in the National Guard Army and daughter (the 16 yr. old) is serving in my church as an assistant to my sister who is the Children's Church Teacher.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people; I hope to learn from other Christians and share ideas.

Stepping Up

Today I had a life changing experience. It changed my thinking, my heart, my mind and my life. I had the privilege of participating in The Brown Bag Ministry that is the personal ministry of a dear sister at church. The Lord blessed her with this ministry about 9 years ago. She puts "Spiritual Food" in a plain brown bag to hand out to those in need. Along with it she hands out food to the homeless.

Speaking in Tongues
