I can relate to much of what you're saying here. I feel most like praying, more close with Him, when things are going well than when things are in an uproar. But being a Christian isn't about having to "get back to the God business" so much as it's…
My interests are in my family, my friends and following Jesus Christ. I love Bible studies at our church. And spending time with my wonderful children.
I'm passionate about...
Jesus Christ.
My story with God
Coming to Jesus was a long and winding road for me, going off on many dark, forbidden paths before Jesus showed me the way.
Other stuff about me:
Took on a few too many obligations this past year, which have kept me away from my church and being involved with them. I am looking forward to this June, when my commitments have been fulfilled and I can throw myself 100% into my church and serving there :).
Hi Terri,
Thanks for getting back to me, i had my doubts about fascinating womanhood but i didnt know it was written by a mormon, my pastor is from the states and he tell us that that is acult. But i think there are some principles in there that can atleast help you not hate your husband soo much and also he may not be mean to you and treat you that badly.
I am sorry to hear about your dad's death, i lost mine in 2002 so i know what you are going through, above all, i pray that you go back to church and pray for your husband, also the other believers will help encourage and strengthen you.
By the way i stay in Uganda a small country in Africa and believe you me, it seems from your situation, women problems with un believing me are the same evrywhere.
i do not yet practice fascinating womanhood because my husband is right now living with another younger girl and i am taking care of our two daughters on my own and my first daughter is mentally retarded even though she grows physically and is healthy But i still thank God because without Him i wouldnt have managed alone.
Thanks again and i pray that the Good Lord intervenes soon in your situation,Trust Him
have a good day
I know you wanted to learn more about the Bible College. I'm not going to be able to do it, this time. If you just want to do a Bible Study, together, we can do that. I found a good one online, that has many different topics that we can choose from. We can start a private group on A.A.G, for just the two of us. We can do it both on the computer and in person, when we get a chance. The website is www.godswordforyou.com, just let me know what you think!
I read your story posted on Jan 18 and left you a comment, Good to read about what the Lord has done for you. You encouraged my heart. Be blessed always.
Dear Sister Terri
Thank you for becoming my friend. If I do not leave comment on your page it does not mean that I neglect you for you are always in my heart and prayers. But JUST STAY BLESSED IN JESUS' WAY SISTER. God bless you always.
Hello, here is some more information to research the difference between Mormonism and Christianity. Also the teaching about Jesus being Satan's brother. Which we both know is a lie. If you want more information, I will dig it up for you!
NOW THIS IS THE CONFIDENCE THAT WE HAVE IN HIM,
THAT IF WE ASK ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE
HEARS US. AND IF WE KNOW THAT HE HEARS US,
WHATEVER WE ASK, WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE THE
PETITIONS THAT WE HAVE ASKED OF HIM.
( 1 JOHN 5:14-15 *NKJV )
We often find ourselves to busy to stop and say a prayer
when we have a rough day. In this life everything seems like
it has to be accomplished A.S.A.P. So we often forget to
speak to God in prayer about it before we react.
Therefore one must remember that; THE PRAYER OF A
RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE!.
( JAMES 5:16 *NIV ) More powerful and more effective than
anything else on this Earth, even when we must react
As Soon As Possible.
Now friend, have you ever wondered about the
abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms
of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we
think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will
begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days
along the way...
So when.......
There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
In the midst of family chaos,
"Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.
It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond to all your needs
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.
Let's pray this prayer for a week...en tell everyone how God renew r heart...
As King David said, WASH ME THOROUGHLY FROM MY
INIQUITY, AND CLEANSE ME FROM MY SIN.
( PSALM 51:2 *NKJV )
Here’s a daily prayer …. WASH DAY….

Lord, help me wash away all my selfishness and vanity, so I
may serve you with perfect humility through the week ahead.
Tuesday Ironing Day
Dear Lord, help me iron out all the wrinkles
of prejudice I have collected through the years so that I may
see the beauty in others.
Wednesday Mending Day
O God, help me mend my ways so I will not
set a bad example for others.
Thursday Cleaning Day
Lord Jesus, help me to dust out all the many faults I have been
hiding in the secret corners of my heart.
Friday Shopping Day
O God, give me the grace to shop wisely so I may purchase
eternal happiness for myself and all others in need of love.
Saturday Cooking Day
Help me, my Savior, to brew a big kettle of brotherly love and
serve it with clean, sweet bread of human kindness.
Sunday The Lord's Day
O God, I have prepared my house for you. Please come into my
heart so I may spend the day and the rest of my life in your
presence.
