Today's Scripture reading emphasizes the importance of caring for our heart.
Are we keeping spiritually fit?
WEIGHT: Do we need to lose the weight of unnecessary burdens and cares?
PULSE: Are we maintaining a steady rhythm of gratitude and praise?
BLOOD PRESSURE: Is our trust greater than our anxiety?
DIET: Are we enjoying the life-giving nutrients of the Word of God?
Have you checked your heart lately?

O Lord, You see what's in the heart...

So help us live the kind of life..

RECEIVED ONE BLESSING AFTER ANOTHER.

Always remember to count our blessings each day, and to
thank God for them! For no matter what we have, when we
look around us, we find others who have less! So never feel
sorry for ourself, instead start counting our blessings, for that
should cheer u up indeed.
Now we know that when things disappoint us, we are sad and
often depressed. However it is written that we should: BE
JOYFUL ALWAYS; PRAY CONTINUALLY; GIVE THANKS IN
ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU
IN JESUS CHRIST. ( 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 )
Therefore, never feel that God doesn't hear our prayers
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want, or something
goes wrong in our life. For our Heavenly Father always knows
what is best for us, and: HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU NOR
FORSAKE YOU. ( DEUTERONOMY 31:6 )
So my friend, remember to always: GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD, CALL ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE
NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE for you!
( 1 CHRONICLES 16:8 )
In closing, MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE
FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALL,
now and always! Amen! ( 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 )
Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.
Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.
Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."
The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.
One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much , but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.
Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition.

Life is definitely
not about work!
Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life.. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time.
You have to decide how you want to balance your Life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence. So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile , Life is short. Do not take Life for granted. Live a balanced lifestyle and enjoy Life!
Watch your thoughts ; they become words.
Watch your words ; they become actions.
Watch your actions ; they become habits..
Watch your habits; they become character .
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny
So enjoy every day as yours.........

God is the answer to the question

And He gives the invitation:

John 1:1-27
Jhn 1:1 In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God.
Jhn 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
Jhn 1:3 He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make.
Jhn 1:4 Life itself was in him, and this life gives light to everyone.
Jhn 1:5 The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Jhn 1:6 God sent John the Baptist
Jhn 1:7 to tell everyone about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.
Jhn 1:8 John himself was not the light; he was only a witness to the light.
Jhn 1:9 The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was going to come into the world.
Jhn 1:10 But although the world was made through him, the world didn't recognize him when he came.
Jhn 1:11 Even in his own land and among his own people, he was not accepted.
Jhn 1:12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
Jhn 1:13 They are reborn! This is not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan-this rebirth comes from God.
Jhn 1:14 So the Word became human and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.[fn1] And we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father.
Jhn 1:15 John pointed him out to the people. He shouted to the crowds, "This is the one I was talking about when I said, `Someone is coming who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before I did.' "
Jhn 1:16 We have all benefited from the rich blessings he brought to us-one gracious blessing after another.[fn2]
Jhn 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; God's unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.
Jhn 1:18 No one has ever seen God. But his only Son, who is himself God,[fn3] is near to the Father's heart; he has told us about him.
Jhn 1:19 This was the testimony of John when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Temple assistants[fn4] from Jerusalem to ask John whether he claimed to be the Messiah.
Jhn 1:20 He flatly denied it. "I am not the Messiah," he said.
Jhn 1:21 "Well then, who are you?" they asked. "Are you Elijah?" "No," he replied. "Are you the Prophet?"[fn5] "No."
Jhn 1:22 "Then who are you? Tell us, so we can give an answer to those who sent us. What do you have to say about yourself?"
Jhn 1:23 John replied in the words of Isaiah: "I am a voice shouting in the wilderness, `Prepare a straight pathway for the Lord's coming!' "[fn6]
Jhn 1:24 Then those who were sent by the Pharisees
Jhn 1:25 asked him, "If you aren't the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet, what right do you have to baptize?"
Jhn 1:26 John told them, "I baptize with[fn7] water, but right here in the crowd is someone you do not know,
Jhn 1:27 who will soon begin his ministry. I am not even worthy to be his slave.[fn8]"
