A popular bumper sticker said, "Prayer changes things" But does it really? Though the Bible reminds us to "pray continually"(1 Thess. 5:17), faithfully (Rom. 12:12) and "on all occassions" what exactly should we be praying for?

I am founder of the GOOD NEWS FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY, which reaches out to help the very poor in India including the leprosy people there that are treated as outcasts. To Evengelise the remote un-reached parts of this vast country where more than 500, 000 villages has still to hear the Good News about Jesus. we need a lot more help and support please.

- Thank You, Pastor Dave. I like your quote about religion's status and Christians being alive. I was raised learning righteousness by works, not by faith, and taught that the Gospel was about half right and had been updated and corrected by a certain writer/church founder.
After giving up on that and being a lunatic for thirty years I wound up on Christ's doorstep and found out he just wants to take his rightful place in my heart, which allows me to be effective and happy. He hasn't been positioning himself to hit me with lightning bolts, he hasn't been noting the times I ate pork or drank caffeine so I'd get an extra scorch with a blowtorch when I finally made it to hell.
I'm grateful for it, and I'm thankful for friends like You.
