My story with God

I gave my life to God on February 13, 1982 and have had a real bumpy walk. I was raised a Catholic and my family left the Catholic church when I was 16 years old and went to nondenominational churches. When I lived in Florida from 1985 until 1989, I only went to church for about a year and then when I no longer lived with my aunt, I had no way of getting to church at all. Once I was living in Ohio again, my dad made sure I made it to church on a weekly basis. When he moved back to Connecticut, all the excuses from friends were coming left and right as to why they could not take me, so I stopped going to church all together. In 1999, I met my husband and started going to his church in September 1999. Liked it there a lot and became a member in March 2000 and married my husband in April 2000. Now through God's help, I am the nursery supervisor at Asbury United Methodist Church South in Columbus, Ohio and have made several friends and love caring for the church children.

Other stuff about me:

I have several health issues. They are; High Blood Pressure, High Thyroid, Diabetes, a bad lower back, depression and I suffer from migraines as well. I take over the counter medications for the back and migraines, but am on perscribed medications for all the rest.
