Ministering to the brokenhearted, suffering, and weaker/vulnerable
- My story with God
- Knew as a child the Lord had given me concern for the weaker, suffering around me...heard about those suffering under communism around the world, and those suffering from hunger and injustice ...The Lord placed in me a burden for them that has driven and led me all my life. Left all in my homestate of Connecticut to move to Maine, and then 10 years later when my husband died from complications from an accident while cutting trees for a major paper company, the Lord called me and my 2 pre teen daughters to Mexico. It's now been 20 years, and we have recently been involved in the establishing of the Spanish speaking independent mission of VOM in Mexico, along with Oscar Moha, the well known activist journalist and defender of religious human rights in Mexico. The Lord has led me from one place to another and I have learned to trust His judgemnet and to depend on Him, in the midst of all, especially when there is no ne else, or when no one else seems to care. I expect that at 60, I still have a long way to go, growing and maturing in Him as I go. He is my all.
- Other stuff about me:
- I love working with Kids of all ages...even teenagers (jajajajaja) who love me even in my toughness. I'm enjoying the traveling, exploring, and meeting new peoples and races as I go, especially my Indigena brothers and sisters who suffer for their faith here in Mexico. But I identify in general with those who suffer...
Dear Brother or Sister in Christ, we are the working with Voice of the Martyrs here in Mexico, and we are always blessed in making new friends...We like to learn what is happening around the world, and what the Body of Christ has to share with its family here in Mexico...is there something in particular that you would like me to share with them???

How funny is that. It's good you found out about me being here. I'm not often here. It's too much. I'm unemployed since 1 January 2009 and the Lord told me while I'm at home my job is to pray for others every day. Intercession. While people want to pray on the internet the Lord tells me more and more to pray off the internet. That is why I'm not so often on the internet. I'm more on Twitter, Multiply and Inspire the Fire. The last one I'm not even that much but still. The others are too much for me. I'm staying here but won't share that much. There are so many Christian networks you have to ask Him what is His will in all of this. Not that they are not good but if it's His will for me.
I'm praying for you and the prisoners and their people. You know we don't get that much news here about this. Just a small writing. It's good there is Open Doors, you and my friend Ester. She still is certain she has to go to Mexico. I'm the same. I think she has to go. But we'll see what the Lord will say in September. She is planning to go 20 September with the medicine, clothing for little children and her own little girl age 3 1/2. God bless you my dear friend. Love and a big hug.
