Many people wonder about the future. What does the Bible teach us about the future?
All this is so true ;whenever I study the Bible or come from worship services I feel so at peace.....when living in my addiction I felt like God was against me but I know now that was the devil talking to keep me in the drugs..Amen to getting away.
Yes,I too had to endure giving up my career that I had done for 20 years...because of health condition....through the whole ordeal of doctor visits & looking for another job (which I still have & thrived in for 3 years) God has been with me...AMEN!!…

I pray for guidance & take everything a day at a time....I listen & watch for my answer because I know it can come at anytime & place.
I am there with Jesus with His help & my will to be there ,I will continue.I haven't been saved very long but my heart has always been with Jesus .I pray everyday to stay right with God
I choose to be with Jesus ;I sincerely repent of sins that I have committed ;I hope with all my heart that I have been kind to all I come in contact with..I don't agree with everyone or everything but I respect that I may be wrong so I will continue…

Being Christian!!!!!
I have been wondering how can we be Christians if we sit and judge others and say a new person in Christ should not be friends with someone the church as a whole has determined to be sinning; are we all not sinners ? - It is normal Leslie to feel up and down in your walk while following the Lord Jesus Christ. Call on Him when you need help. He is only a prayer away.
To grow in the Lord you need to confess your love for the Lord and let the enemy of your soul hear you declare that Jesus Christ is your Lord because of Calvary! Everyone are born sinners and everyone needs to be born again of God's Spirit - Romans 10: 9, 10
Thank God for loving you so much that He allowed His Son Jesus Christ to suffer and die in your place so you might be forgiven all your sins and praise Him for the blood of Jesus Christ that not only makes you a child of God but the blood of Jesus Christ is your protection against every trick of the enemy to get you back into darkness and sin.
Sin separates from God and it was sin that caused Jesus all that pain and shame and agony and shedding His Holy Blood to cleanse us and make us clean on the inside! The blood of Jesus Christ breaks the power of sin and frees us from the penalty of sin. This is the reason Jesus preached, "Repent, and be baptized..." Repentance is not only being sorry for living contrary to the law of God, but it is willingness to forsake sin. Jesus Christ comes into your life and He will give you grace to follow Him daily.
Remember the woman Jesus forgave in John 8:1-12? He told her go and sin no more. Her commitment to Him and her love for Him for saving her from being stoned to death kept her from going back into her old way of life.
We can do this for Christ now lives IN us because we invited Him into our lives and when we think of what it cost Him to provide us with forgiveness.
