Shadows of the Cross: The Sin Offering - Leviticus 4. There are two problems we have with God with regard to our sin. The first is who we are - sinners of the seed of Adam; and the second is what we do - we commit acts of sin. Jesus cared for both of these conditions in His death for us on the cross. The sin offering was God's provision for who we are as the sons and daughters of Adam. (36:13)
Shadows of the Cross: The Peace Offering - Leviticus 3. An amazing aspect of our Christian life is that we have peace with God. The peace offering described in Leviticus was a sweet savor offering, expressing something favorable to God - and was offered in conjunction with the burnt offering and the meal offering. (31:53)
Shadows of the Cross: The Meal Offering - Leviticus 2. Loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength is an incredible challenge. But then, so is loving our neighbor as ourselves. According to the Bible, that means more than doing a nice deed now and then. It is having a servant spirit at all times with regard to our interactions with other people. In studying the meal offering we are confronted by God's mandate for sacrificial service in loving others. (35:29)
Shadows of the Cross: Christ - The Sum of the Offerings - Hebrews 10:1-4. When Jesus died on the cross, He was accomplishing many things simultaneously. In fact, it took five separate and distinct sacrificial offerings in Old Testament times to expose all of the facets of our Lord's death. (33:03)
God's Vision for the Church, Part 8 - Ephesians 4:11-12. Reaching people with the Gospel of Christ is an integral part of the mission of the Church. Our Lord role-modeled that concern for us as He reached out to people from all walks of life with the message of salvation. Then, just before He left, He commissioned the founders of the Church to keep doing what He had begun - Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15). In our day, and in our community, we are to continue that tradition of the Body of Christ. The church is to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world with the message of salvation in Christ (Matthew 5:13-16). (39:38)

Dancing With God
When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing 'dance' at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw 'G': I thought of God, followed by 'u' and 'i'.
'God, 'u' and 'i' dance.'
God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.
And I Hope You Dance
Hello JoAnne,and welcome!
How are you?Good to have another sister from Florida!
This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord .
Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.
I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information, and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.
Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.
I hope to "see" you often and I would love to get to know you more as we walk this faith.
Im your friend, and if I can help or answer any questions for you, Im here.

Greetings and Blessings! This is Carla, one of TheNET moderators here. Welcome to this wonderful family of Jesus followers! We're glad you are here.
May God Bless you richly for joining here and opening your heart and soul so readily. I pray that God will move mightily in your life, and i have faith that you will soon speak those words which Job spoke. All faith comes from God. We just have to keep our eyes on Jesus. I'm sure you are familiar with Hebrews:
Hebrews 12:2--
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the Joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding it's shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.
He is the perfector of our faith, and when we keep our eyes on Him, our faith strengthens.
