Some people use a different email address and that seems to work. If you ever want me to resend them to a different address, just let me know. ~Julia

Hmm... well, let's try to figure out why. Check your settings in the upper right corner of this page... It says, "My Settings." Make sure you have the settings to accept email.

Yes, you've already requested an invite, but haven't accepted. There should be 2 emails in your inbox (or maybe your junk folder). Let me know if you can't find them or accept the invitation. ~Julia

You're invited to join the group "For Women Only." Stop in to ask questions, give feedback, and receive support from other women. Click Groups in the top nav bar and then "For Women Only." Then request an invite. I hope you enjoy this network! ~Julia

Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing 'dance' at the end of the word.

I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.

The movement doesn't flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.

The dance takes surrender, willingness,
and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.

When I saw 'G': I thought of God, followed by 'u' and 'i'.

'God, 'u' and 'i' dance.'

God, you, and I dance.

As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.

Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

My prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.

May you abide in God, as God abides in you.

Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through each season of your life.

This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.

If God has done anything for you in your life,
please share this message with someone else.

There is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so let's continue to pray for one another.

And I Hope You Dance
prayer changes things

Hello JoAnne,and welcome!
How are you?Good to have another sister from Florida!

This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord .
Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information, and fellowship. When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.

Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.

I hope to "see" you often and I would love to get to know you more as we walk this faith.
Im your friend, and if I can help or answer any questions for you, Im here.
God Bless you, JoAnne,I cant wait to get to know you more.

Hi There,

Greetings and Blessings! This is Carla, one of TheNET moderators here. Welcome to this wonderful family of Jesus followers! We're glad you are here.

May God Bless you richly for joining here and opening your heart and soul so readily. I pray that God will move mightily in your life, and i have faith that you will soon speak those words which Job spoke. All faith comes from God. We just have to keep our eyes on Jesus. I'm sure you are familiar with Hebrews:

Hebrews 12:2--

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the Joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding it's shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.

He is the perfector of our faith, and when we keep our eyes on Him, our faith strengthens.

I have included a link to help you navigate around the site. . Please be sure to check out the Genesis Group and visit the Links for Growth forum for great tips on how to grow in Christ. Please be encouraged to check it out

Please also be encouraged to personalize your page by adding music, photos and videos. This is your personal space, made by you, for Him!

Once again, thanks for joining TheNET. I hope you make lots of good friends here and keep growing in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.

I look forward to getting to know you.
God Bless!

My story with God
My grandmother had a wonderful witness to me when I was a little child. When we moved away (I was 9) she stayed with me in my memories. I asked my parents to take me to church, loved VBS and though young and immature, I believe I was a Christian even then. When newly married, a spiritual longing gripped me and I began the serious search. It's been 37 years of cramming in the Word of God. I love it. However, now I'm seeking more of a relational component to bolster my intellectual knowledge *about* Christ. I admire those who have such absolute confidence (never doubting) about Jesus Christ but I am not one of them. I am a Thomas, an empiricist, one who struggles with what I can not see or understand. But I trudge on. My faith is a conviction, a commitment, a choice. I want to be able to, with all sincerity, speak the words of Job:

Job 42:5 "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;
