Currently grinding steel, but looking into doing either business or ministry
I'm here to...
have fellowship with other people who either believe, or are in the process of starting their lives a new with the Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Interests:
Worshiping God, having fellowship with other believers to build relationships, knowing more about the LORD, Jesus Christ, through studying His Written Word, golf, bike riding, watching movies, watching musicals, taking walks, listening to music, reading books, fishing, soccer, basketball, racquetball, ice skating, and talking to people.
I'm passionate about...
the Bible, sharing God's love with the world through conversations about the Bible, singing praise to God, building relationships with people, and helping people overcome the problems they are facing in life.
My story with God
At the age of three, being curious about the world I now lived in, I asked many questions about life, things in the world, and what people do. One day, I saw a Book on a coffee table in my parent's house, and asked my Mom what it was. She told me it was the Bible, shared information about it with me, and started reading from it to me before I went to bed. I loved hearing about it, and quickly realized that what it said was actually true; not just a book with fairy tales of, Once upon a time ..., but actual truth that I could apply to my life.

Since then, I did many things as a child, but my passion for the LORD, Jesus Christ, never went away. Each Sunday, I would be excited to go to church because I knew that we were going to be at God's house, with Him, and learn His ways. During those years I've learned a lot, and had lots of fun with my friends.

In high school, my junior year, I tried wrestling for my first time. It was difficult, to say the least, but I prayed I would get something out of it. Well, that year I lost every match I wrestled in, but I had 8 forfeits, so I ended up getting something out of it, even though I was horrible at wrestling.

That year I really started my search for the LORD, Jesus Christ, and digested a lot of what His Word said. It wasn't until years later that I actually took detailed notes of everything I found in the Bible, and was actually able to show people the love that the LORD had for them.

I am still working on the relationship that I have with the LORD, Jesus Christ; being eager to share what I find with others, and building relationships with other people, that through my Bible study, I found out were actually extended members of my family. Hopefully, I will be successful in building relationships with them before they are some how taken out of it.
Other stuff about me:
I love to travel, seeing different places of the world. So far, I have only visited Canada, and France, Mexico, various places in Florida, and the Chicago Airport. I hope to go to Israel in the future, and maybe, Italy. Hopefully, I will be able to learn the languages needed when that time does come that I am able to go to those places.

A STEADFAST CONFIDENT HEART

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” ( Psalm 51:10 )

“My heart is confident, O God. My heart is confident. I want to sing and make music.” ( Psalm 57: 7)

“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.” ( Psalm112:7 )

When our heart is fixed and steadfast, it is then that we have set our hearts to live in obedience to the will of the Lord. Our hearts are firm and establish and we are ready to live in full obedience to the will of God.
Until we have a steadfast spirit within us, we will continue to go down a slippery slope in our personal life. When our hearts are fixed it is like a setting the Rutter of a a ship. Our lives will go in the direction of our hearts. We need a steadfast, fixed heart to experience confidence in our personal lives.

“Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;” ( 1John 3;21 )

“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.' ( 1John 5:14 )

So to have a steadfast and a confident heart we need to set our hearts on living in obedience to the Lord. Having our hearts fixed is a huge commitment for us. The Word of God says that if we love him we will keep his commandments. (1John 14:15 )

Obedience is a sure sign that our hearts are set, our hearts are fixed upon the Lord and we will be steadfast in our obedience. This is where the confidence come from. We have confidence when we know we are doing the right things. ( 1John 3:21 )

“Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” ( Hebrews 4:16 )

So this confidence is a result of our relationship with God. We have mercy and grace.
Mercy gets a criminal off the hook and out of jail, but GRACE pays the debt of the criminal and sets him free to enjoy the good life. For us that also means LIFE,and LIFE eternal.

In Psalm 51:10, David was praying that his heart would become clean and also steadfast. He had set his heart on an alternate course that led him into horrible sin; immorality, deception, and murder. It wasn't until Nathan the prophet confronted him that he finally led him to reset the course of his life.

PRAYER
Father God you know that we as your children desire us to have a steadfast, and a confident hearts that is fixed on living in obedience to your good and perfect will.
Help us to set our hearts in obedience to your Word. Help us not to set our heart toward sin and disobedience . As David prayed, “Create in us a steadfast heart.” Help us to fix our hearts always on living in obedience to your will. In Jesus name. Amen.

I have been reading through the Bible this year and waded my way through the genealogies. These were so important to the Israelites because it was their citizenship. They had rights and privileges as citizens that was determinate on their citizenship.
The same goes with us, we are part of the family of God by the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit in our lives assures us of that citizenship.

As citizens we have access to God and are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace.

hello, here's a joke from janet walker of the US to welcome u. by the way, how did you get to know this wonderful site of God?

FISHERMAN

A guy is 72 years old and loves to fish.

He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say,

'Pick me up.'

He looked around and couldn't see any one.

He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again,

'Pick me up.'

He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.

The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'

The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you.

Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.

I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'

The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.

The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said?
I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, 'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'

With age comes wisdom.
