- I have a lot of different interests ranging from outdoor to indoor activities and hobbies. It seems like my interests change after a while when I get bored with one hobby, I move on. Anyway, ask me what I'm interested in now and it will make be a good conversation starter. :-)

- Reaching people who don't know Jesus and seeing them grow and being transformed by doing life in community with other believers.
- My story with God
- As a child, I heard a radio program about the end of the earth and saw a movie about God destroying the earth with a flood. I had a Bible at home and knew somehow it was God's word, but never read it. I mocked God and was miserable, defeated and depressed.
The pastor of a church we attended occassionally visited from time to time and prayed for our family. He shared the Bible's message about Jesus Christ with me and I realized that I was sinning against God and knew I had no chance of going to heaven. On the day I graduated from High School I told God that I was hopeless without Him and sorry for sinning against Him. I asked Jesus Christ to rescue me and make me a new person.
That day occurred more than 30 years ago, but it was the start of my walk with Jesus. That walk has been very hard at times and I've failed more times than I can count to live according to His Word, but I will say, God is merciful and I trust He is making me more like His Son, Jesus, every day.
- Other stuff about me:
- After living outside the USA for many years, I appreciate what I have here, I love my country in spite of its problems and I am very patriotic. I've been married to a beautiful woman for 23 years and have great kids. I have the privilege to work with some fantastic people doing the most important thing in the world for the world's most important person!

Amanda said… - Thank you for your comment and for even viewing my blog and I agree that as long as the meaning in which you are celebrating Christmas should matter but the thing that concerns me is the scripture in Jeremiah 10:2-5. To me it's talking about Christmas and Halloween. All my life since I was little I celebrated Christmas and that was my favorite holiday but since I read that in the bible it crush me because I feel like that is saying don't do it especially since people always been doing it and that God do not want us to celebrate Jesus that way but for what he did for us.
