I think the new technology offers wonderful opportunities for sharing faith and finding Christian friends - it is amazing that in the brief time I have been a member of this site so many good people have contacted me.
Yes, nearly anything can be ...
Hello Fremie, i'm so sorry that i reply so late, but i'm actually so busy right now with assignments that due for the weeks to come and my weekly teaching that takes also alot of time.
Congrats on finishing with your studies. I hope that you will find a job very soon. Glad to hear that you enjoy working with students, well i won't know how that would be, don't have experience in that phase.
Well, i'm sure that, once you've got a job, you'll be able to study part-time. Some of the lectures at my varsity study part-time and even the teachers at the high school that i was at taught during weekends and some studies further. I'm also considering doing that later on, i'm thinking about doing a BA in languages (Afrikaans) and maybe in Drama too.
I've got 3 more weeks to go then, i'm on holiday...yeah, can't wait for that, right now i feel so tired and exhausted, but i'm sure it will pay of in the end. I'm sure that you feel relieved to be finished with studying for now at least? Or do you prefer to study? If you then you must certainly be the only one that i know that enjoys to be behind the books!
Have a great weekend, here it's winter meaning wet & cold days,

“For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”- 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
May His Kingdom rises upon us.
The center chapter of the BIBLE is Psalm 118.. there are 594 chapters before and after Psalm 118
And if we will add this we will get 1188... in which the center verse of the BIBLE is PSALM 118:8
What is the significant of Psalm 118:8 in God's perfect will for our lives?
It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.-- Psalm 118:8
When things get tough, always remember faith doesn't get you around trouble..
it gets you through it!
When you relinquish the desire to control your future you obtain happiness...
Prayer:
Father God, bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day....
May thier life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have closer relationship with you. Amen...
HI Fremie,
thanks for the reply, yes your right i'm very much exposed to teaching, in the beginning i had a passion for it and i absolutely loved it, but recently i'm not so sure anymore. Maybe it's just a phase that i'm going through, i just hope that i will get my passion back to do everything that is expected. At times i wish that i know what God really want me to do with my life...
I take my hat off for you to teach college students, i don't think i will be able to handle them at all!
By now you should be finished with your practicals and mine are about to start in April, i'm teaching the Gr 8 & 9's this year and the subject are Afrikaans and Life Orientation.
Let me know how your studies are going? Have a nice Sunday!
Take care!

Hello Fremie, what a lovely surprise to hear from you so soon!!
Yes, i've started with my practice teaching in my first year already....in the beginning of the year we've went to schools for two weeks to see all the admin duties that are required of a teacher etc.
And then we also do weekly teaching where we work with learners who need extra support in there language and reading. So our academic program are quite hectic, but if everything goes well this will be my last year...yeah!!
Anyway enough of me....so when you are qualified are you going to teach in schools or are you going to be a lecture? How is it to teach older students?

My story with God
it was when i can't tell to anyone about my burden and i have nothing else to lean on, that was the beginning i started calling God, believing Him fully and holding on to His promises..
i can never give my burden, struggles, fears, doubts, worries to anybody else. God is my Life and Savior..
I can do everything through God which strengthen me.
