I'm here to...
Grow and help others grow
Interests:
Fishing, writing poetry, working, spending time with my family, enjoying God's sky!!
I'm passionate about...
Lost souls. It saddens me to think that there will be people who will not be in Heaven. What saddens me more is that there are people here, now, who do not know Christ. They are missing out on sooo much. We often think ahead to the future of those who do not know Him, but what of now? What of the things they are missing now? There is so much to be enjoyed each day. So many blessings, so much love. It breaks my heart to know that anyone's choice would not be to partake in it all.....
My story with God
More like a novel. He has rescued me so many times. I was reborn when I was 10 but what did I know then? My growth has been slow and spaced out....my fault of course. I, like any other growing child, have had growth spurts and many growing pains. I may never "get there" as far as perfection goes but I will die striving for it. Para Dios tan amó el mundo.....

It has been a little over a year since I joined this site.....this family, and I have grown tremendously in that year. I came here, like many others, seekig answers; I came here while I was rambling aimlessly in the desert, looking for purpose and hoping to be used in some way by God. But I know now that I did not just happen upon this site. God put me here and I am thankful for that and so many other things today. I am thankful for meaning and purpose and for all the little things I unwittingly take for granted. Most of all tho, I am thankful for and grateful to my God, my Father, for seeing me thru the desert and not only for pointing out the spots of water along the way but for leading me to the oasis that has been my source of love and friendship for the past year.
Other stuff about me:
I am an introverted extrovert. Once you get me going, it's on....I love people and I love to help. Somehow, encouraging others gives joy to the encourager. Is amazing how God works in ones life. Oh yeah and I am a cloud freak. Is just something about clouds....have you ever noticed?

OMG I neglected to tell you (not out of memory loss) that I am married to the most wonderful, loving, caring man in my world. We have been together for 21 years and married for 10. He is God's greatest gift to me aside from Jesus.

Philippians 3:12-13 12 I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
         You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
Psalm 4:1, New King James Version

Praise the Lord. God bless you too sister in Christ Bev. Just great to hear from you always. Invited many to be "friends" on AllaboutGod, but you and a handful always reply with encouragement and prayers. I wonder if it would be different if I was not Indian-Apache? I know many still prefer "a good Indian is a dead Indian," yes even the "christians." I see your picture in the cold weather. It is exactly where I am at now. Homeless and unwanted. My sister lets me sleep in one of the bedroom where utilities are off. It is very cold. God remembered Noah. I pray Lord remembers me. Smile Jesus loves you. Philippeans 3:13-14.

Dear Bev

After reading what you said the Lord reminded me of a poem that I'd like to share with you . You may have already heard of it but it has a 'new' meaning to me.
The Weaver
My life is but a weaving
between my Lord and me;
I cannot choose the colors
He worketh steadily.

Oft times He weaveth sorrow
and I in foolish pride,
forget He sees the upper,
and I the under side.

Not til the loom is silent
and the shuttle cease to fly '
will God unroll the canvas
and reveal the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
in the Weaver's skillful hand,
as the threads of gold and silver
in the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares,
nothing this truth can dim,
He gives His very best to those
who leave the choice to Him.

Though this poem is not a direct scriptural quote or anything like that , I believe that God inspired someone to write it nonetheless. And I believ I'm one of those this person was inspired to write the poem for.

Anyhow, God bless you and your family my precious friend.

well,my friend , things didn't turn out as I had hoped as far as returning to NC is concerned. However God has given me new insights to several things that I had questions about (although there are many more insights that I need). I am at peace with living here in Florida for awhile longer at least.

God is good and I am looking forward to learning more from Him. There just doesn't seem to be anything as important as a greater insight into His will for me at this time. I 'm learning ( at least a little) to put my questions aside that aren't of real 'eternal ' importance and am trying to just get more about His business.

Anyhow, all is well as long as I look to Him. I'm glad to hear that you and your family are doing well. It is a good thing when we can see the grandchildren. I pray that you may get to see them almost as often as you would like. I say 'almost' because I realize that if we saw them as often as we liked we might not get much else done.

Anyhow, God bless you and yours , my friend.

RESTORING THE OLD DOORS

THE BRICK CHURCH

I go to a church where our brick building was built about 200 years ago. It is a beautiful building, but has been very costly to keep up. We have 2 double doors on the front of the church that had cracked paint, and were a mess from years of neglect and many layers of old paint.

It has taken hours to strip them down to the wood with this heating element to melt the old paint so it could be scraped off.
God's word says he is coming back for a bride without spot or wrinkle. The spot is removed by the blood of Jesus, the wrinkles are worked out by heat from the fire of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.

Just like those doors are going to be restored and beautiful once again, so are we as the Holy Spirit uses the tool of the Word of God to chip away all the old sinful things in our lives that keep us from being beautiful.

It is very uncomfortable when God does His work in our lives, but oh the wonder of becoming more and more into the image of that bride without spot or wrinkle.

Ephesians 5:27. "That He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless."

Ephesians 1:4, " just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love."

I am Rev. O.D.Ananda Rao Samuel; full time Christian gospel worker.
About my self :- My parents dedicated me to JESUS CHRIST when I was born. And i am also dedicated my life to CHRIST service.
India is “Hindu” religious country. In my country most of the people worship IDOLS. These people not accepting JESUS CHRIST.
Indian papulation 115 cross, 80% Hindus ; 13% Muslims ; 4% Sikhs and last 3% Christians.
There is so much God’s work in my country. And Christian gospel workers, Evangelists and pastors are getting so many troubles by Hindu religion people.
If any way to serve JESUS CHRIST message until my last breath.
I am only one son to my parents. And I have one sister who slept in Jesus Christ long ago while she was at 2 years old. And we hope she reached safely in to the hands of JESUS CHRIST.
My sister is named "SHRINE BASILICA”. Since she was invited by Jesus in to his hands my parents started a ministry by her name. And the ministry is called "BREADS” "Basilica Rural Evangelical and Development Society" since 1982.
In this ministry with out any support we preach gospel and do out reach ministry. And
Also started one Orphanage home.
August 23rd 2008 one HINDU religion Elder killed by militants. With out any reason IDOLS worship people attacked and killed so many people nearly 174 Christian believers died and destroyed 12 churches. These incidents are telecasted BBC&CNN and another news channels. With these details I would like to invite you to India to witness my ministry and to take part in helping the needy.
I hope you would encourage my ministry in all aspects please pray for me and my ministry
