SOMETIMES CERTAIN THINGS ARISE
THAT WE COULD NOT FOR SEE
LIKE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT MAKE OUR LIVES FLASH BEFORE OUR EYES
WE REALIZE ANOTHER TOMORROW IS NEVER GUARANTEED

AT TIMES WE JUST GET SO CAUGHT UP IN THE DAILY GRIND
AND WE FORGET WHOSE IN CONTROL
WE WALK INTO SCENARIOS THAT WOULD LEAVE PEOPLE THINKING WERE BLIND
AT TIMES SEEM AS THOUGH WERE NOT AFRAID TO FORFEIT OUR INNER SOUL

SO OUR MAKER HAS TO INTERVENE
TO GRASP OUR FULL ATTENTION
HE HAS TO BREAK OUR MONOTONOUS ROUTINE
HIS WAYS ARE BEYOND OUR COMPREHENSION

THE MANGLED MESSES THAT WE MAKE
HE CAN USE FOR HIS GLORY
HE CAN USE OUR MISTAKES
TO MAKE A BETTER ENDING TO OUR STORY

WHEN WE LEARN TO NOT TRUST “ME”
AND ADMIT THAT THERE’S ONE HIGHER
ITS THEN WE WILL FINALLY SEE
THAT HE WILL PROVIDE ALL THAT WE REQUIRE
