When I was younger, in 8th grade, I got raped by my boyfriend at that time. I felt betrayed, hurt, ugly. I felt as if I was a NOBODY. I was suicidal, and depressed. On August 13, 2008, God has healed my sorrows! This is what happened: ok basically what happened was that in the beginning of the service Manny, the assistant pastor {i think}, was like "How is evry 1" then he said "does any body have a testimony" and i said i do. so i went to the altar and he said state your name Manouchka {lol} and tell your testimony . then i told the church how i got raped and how i am always afraid because i think that it is going to happen again at any minute. then after the rest of my testimonyi gave the mic back and Manny said "everybody stretch your hands toward Manouchka". then they prayed for me rebuking the spirit of fear and stuff. then during the service this guy took the mic and said "i feel as if there is something holdning us back in our worship and it is because we are doubting God. You think that God is just a God that makes you made because he can and stuff like that. If you have doubts in God come to the altar" I went to the altar because i doubted God soo much because of the rape and other reasons. Like i always question Him asking, why did you let this happened if you love me? then the pastor took the mic and said "If you are in love in God and if you know God then come and surround these people at the altar and lay hands on them and start to pray." then i felt mad people'z hands on me. then they started to pray. and as they were praying i just felt so ashamed because i actually said i got raped in front of mostly strangers so i was ashamed so i went to my knees and scrowched down and hid my face in my hands. as they were praying the pastor said "if you have ever been raped or molested please come and lay hands on her" as soon as she said that i jus started BALLING my eyes out! as i was crying OUTLOUD the pastor said "God told me Manouchka to tell you that he loves you. that you are beautiful that you from this day forward will not be afraid anymore. you will walk with your head held high. as you stand up, you will become a new person. then i stood and one of my friends hugged me. after that i feel SOOOOOOO much better!! i feel like i have the strength to do anything. I have the strength to go up to the dude that raped me and give him a hug and tell him that its okayy and i forgive you. THANK YOU LORD!!
