NOW THIS IS THE CONFIDENCE THAT WE HAVE IN HIM,
THAT IF WE ASK ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE
HEARS US. AND IF WE KNOW THAT HE HEARS US,
WHATEVER WE ASK, WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE THE
PETITIONS THAT WE HAVE ASKED OF HIM.
( 1 JOHN 5:14-15 *NKJV )
We often find ourselves to busy to stop and say a prayer
when we have a rough day. In this life everything seems like
it has to be accomplished A.S.A.P. So we often forget to
speak to God in prayer about it before we react.
Therefore one must remember that; THE PRAYER OF A
RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE!.
( JAMES 5:16 *NIV ) More powerful and more effective than
anything else on this Earth, even when we must react
As Soon As Possible.
Now friend, have you ever wondered about the
abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms
of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we
think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will
begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days
along the way...
So when.......
There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
In the midst of family chaos,
"Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.
It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond to all your needs
A.S.A.P. - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER.

Greetings in the Lord! This is Jonathan, one of moderators here. Welcome to TheNet! We're glad you are here!
I could not help but notice, when I was browsing your profile, that you are interested in chess. I am glad we share this common ground – it is a game I am most passionate about. How long have you been playing? Do you play at an international or national level? Or just as a past-time basis? I am competing in the Scottish International Open in Glasgow starting Saturday (for 9 days), which I am most excited about. There are lots of strong titled players coming from abroad, as well as lots of strong local players. The first prize is £2000, so can’t complain.
I am also very passionate about the creation-evolution issue, which I also notice you are into. You seem to have a very similar testimony to Randall Niles (http://www.randallniles.com and http://www.allaboutthejourney.org). I would recommend checking out some of his resources.
I am currently a student studying Forensic Biology, in Scotland, and so it is an area I am very passionate about.
Please let me know what questions you have. Once again, thanks for joining TheNET. I hope you make lots of good friends here and keep growing in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.
Praise God for speaking into your heart and you accept Jesus again a Saviour.Being saved is a wonderful journey.

My story with God
My name is Alvin I grew up in the philippines i went to a private school run my priests when i was there.
I stoped for 2 years and our whole family went to United states been here now for 3 years. Love my family. I went to public school. I used to be a believer when i was a kid and loved reading Bible stories till we left for the US then i went to public and i lost my faith went to highschool parties drank alchohol smoked pot with friends and did alot of stupid stuff . I stoped praying and at some point became an atheist. I believed in evolution and the universe is billions of years old. Then one day i looked back into my life and wondered why i lost my faith, stoped praying and gone into the wrong path that night i prayed... the next day when i was surfing on the internet and watching youtube i saw this video by kent hovind and that started me to find out more stuff about God like Ron wyatts discoveries, case for Christ by Lee Strobel and alot more stuff that will turn a sceptic around! God has heard my prayer! I ordered 2 Bibles KJV and NKJV and now im on the right path again! Thank you God so much!
Other stuff about me:
I like: reading the Bible, snowboarding, playing World of warcraft, Swimming, playing Chess, flying kites, Hiking, Working out, eating sushi and Drinking gatorade
