My story with God

In 1992 I repented of my sins and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Nevertheless, I was not fully committed to Him until the end of 2006, when I finally gave all control of my life over to Him. I love Him and praise His Holy Name. One of my favourate verses is Proverbs 3:6 "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

Other stuff about me:

Apart from the love and compassion I have for my fellow humans, I enjoy working with plants. I keep healthy by walking regularly, and try to maintain a healthy diet. Our bodies belong to God and we should be sensible in what we consume. Laughter is important. Good music. Creative work, like sketching and painting, sewing, very good for the soul. God gave us our talents, so we should use it to His glory! I am divorced, single, (since 1996) have no children, live in Portugal, but am South African. Moved here in 2006. I praise God under all circumstances, no matter how difficult it might be. It is when we fully surrender to Him in our weakness, that He strengthens us to continue where He leads us.
