Let no opinion of our own merits have any place in our prayers or in our praises. All the good we do, is done by the power of his grace; and all the good we have, is the gift of his mere mercy, and he must have all the praise. Are we in pursuit of any mercy, and wrestling with God for it, we must take encouragement in prayer from God only. Lord, do so for us; not that we may have the credit and comfort of it, but that thy mercy and truth may have the glory of it. The heathen gods are senseless things. They are the works of men's hands: the painter, the carver, the statuary, can put no life into them, therefore no sense.

Comment by marophi on July 1, 2008 at 10:16am: Fellow believers i'm back to our great group and i must say that i'm astonished at the work you all have done on this group. Only one thing is lost to me and that is John (the group administrator). Pls tell John to come back if he's left but if he's there pls tell him to get in touch.
Notwithstanding i believe we need an administrator for now, any nominations on that?

Thank you for the Word of God that promices us that greater is He who is in us than he that is in the world. We are to submit ourselves to You and resist the devil and He will flee from us. God listens!!!!
My daughter receive her money to go on the Swaziland outreach and believe it, I started a new job today!! Although not the kind of work I love to do but I am not particular for the income is needed!! And I just want to give glory to Father for His love, for I know He has a plan for me and that what HE has instore for me will come to fulfillment even it leads through a lot of different paths!
Thanks for praying with me!!For I am honouring Him now for His fulfillment of His dream for me

Would you please pray with me:
First my eldest daughter is doing her year for Christ. They had two outreaches outside the country borders, we couldn't afford the USA one but she must now attend the Swaziland one, please pray with me that our Father will provide me the means to send her with her team, her heart is so much in her ministry, she love the children and ministering to them.
And I was offered a full time position in a company, the people are not believers (i can let my light shine) the salary is not much more than I receive now but i want God to show me if this is His plan for me!
I am so grateful for my family who is praying with me so good to know we are never alone in prayer!

Comment by Ramona on May 20, 2008 at 9:08pm: I am having a diffcult time dealing with my teenage daughter, with the regular teenage problems. I pray for her daily and I have put this situation in His hands and I know that He will look after it, but the waiting is very difficult. Please pray for me that this will work out soon. I have so many other issues that I am dealing with now, and this just does not help. She is a good kid, but she along with the rest of us has been through a difficult time and I know she is acting out, but I wish she would change her attitude. I try my best to negotiate and compromise, but sometimes it is just so very frustrating. I have had cancer and I am stable and I don't need this additional stress. And, as well I recently left an abusive realtionship and I am going through the process of divorce. Sometimes it is just overwhelming. Please pray for me in my daily struggles.

Father you have not forgotton the Church in China or all those you have reached through the internet like our freind Godislove, Father we mourn with those who have lost children, parents, freinds, husbands and wives, relitives and freinds. Father I come to you today with a prayer request and I ask that your Spirit lead me to know what to say in your presence Lord, I am only a man here on earth Lord, your ways are not my ways Lord, therefore I ask your Spirit to guide me. In Jesus name

Father Satan is really busy and trying to lead us to destruction Lord, I pray that you open our eyes Lord, to see that you are with us always Lord, Father your word said that we should rejoice in our trials and tribulations Lord, Lord you know it is difficult sometimes, the flesh seems to be much stronger and nothing seems to be going right and nobody hears Lord, but I pray for your strenght Lord, give us the courage Lord to know you are there and in the midst of the storms Lord you will calm the storm and we will be victories and thus your power be manifested Lord, Lord give us the strength to Praise and Worship you in the midst of the storms, in order for us to be victorias and your Glory be manifested and thus winning heart of those around us. Jesus you are our King and our God, you are everything to us, you deserve all the Glory and Honor and we Worship you with our whole hearts in the midst of the storms you are our God and there is nothing to difficult for you. Praise be to Jesus.

Father I lay these requests at your feet today Lord, and Father I thank you for hearing the prayers of your children Lord, You said you will never leave us or forsake us Lord, Lord I also pray for all your children and our families around the world we need you now more than ever Lord. Lord I pray for people in our work places, Lord I pray that you open their eyes Lord to see you through us Lord. I pray that you manifest yourself Lord through us, we are available to be used by you Father, your will be done in Jesus Name. We love you Lord.
