Let no opinion of our own merits have any place in our prayers or in our praises. All the good we do, is done by the power of his grace; and all the good we have, is the gift of his mere mercy, and he must have all the praise. Are we in pursuit of any mercy, and wrestling with God for it, we must take encouragement in prayer from God only. Lord, do so for us; not that we may have the credit and comfort of it, but that thy mercy and truth may have the glory of it. The heathen gods are senseless things. They are the works of men's hands: the painter, the carver, the statuary, can put no life into them, therefore no sense.

my friend Cathy McCaw & her family. Her Dad had a mini stroke the other
night. She has to talk with the doctors to find out what damage it caused & what to do next.I would appreciate it if you would forward this to others.

Comment by Patricia Bird on June 15, 2009 at 9:44pm: Please pray for me, I have done something really stupid. I know the whole thing sounds stupid… but if I don’t fix it my whole family will be humiliated (especially my son). I have NEVER felt so crushed over something I have done.
I started a painting project today that should take at least a week to do and I have to finish it tomorrow!
I can't believe how stupid I was! It was my pride I think.... I really don't know why I started it but I have to finish it, people are depending on it!
I should have left it alone. I should never have thought I could do it.
I "woke up" while working on it and thought this must be a dream.... I really can't be doing this. But the really bad thing is that it was okay before I started... it just wasn't good enough to me so I decided it "needed" changed. And now I am SO tired after all day working on it, I don't have the strength to finish it.... but I have to. I am physically and mentally drained. I just got done with doing a week of Back Yard VBS and also having a lot of emotional problems with my husband. Now I don’t have any strength left.
This has got to be the most humiliating thing I have ever done. I need God’s forgiveness and his strength to fix it.

It is so nice to have other intercessors warriors on hand and those we can go to with request for prayer.. for where two or more are there is Jesus in the mist of them. Please keep in prayer for Lake Granbury Christian Temple, we are a interdenomantional church..Spirit filled...we have been attacked by the spirit of henderance, devisions, and operssion on members...but, we still praise and worship God and keep believeing. thanks.
