hi friends
Gud morning in the name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Today is 16th may 2008. today i learn more about Repentance
Word repentance comes from the Greek word 'metanoia' which means a change of mind. Before proceeding further it may be well to clear away any misunderstanding about Repentance
Repentance is not Regret: Regret is being sorry for oneself deploring the consequences of one's actions but not necessarily making a change
Repentance is not remorse: Remorse is sorrow without hope at its heart; it is an emotion of disgust. it eatss its heart ourt instead of seeking a new heart
Repentance is not reformation: Reformation may follow repentance, but it can never preecde it
Repentance is not reparation: Reparation or restitution is practical proof of reality of repentance but it must not be mistaken for repentance.

Sometimes we who reborn in Christ thought that we need to repent once only when we are about to make a new start in Christ. Yes, repentance is the doorway inot the Christian life, but it should not be once.
A section from the book of Charles Colson.....

The repentance God desires of us is not just contrition over particular sins; it is also a daily attitude, a perspective... it is the process by which we see ourselves, day by day , as we really are sinful, needy, dependent people. it is the process by which we see God as He is, awesome majestic holy... and it so radically alters our perspective that we begin to see the world through God's eyes not our own. Repentance is the ultimate surrender of the self.

Repent and be baptized , every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit....Acts 2:38

unless you repent, you too will all perish...Luke 13:3

Repentance brings change, and if there can be no great change in the soul, there is no change in the way we see things. Repentance brings us in 100
% change to make home with Jesus Christ. We will be in Him, and He in us.

if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask wil be listened to and acted upon....John 15:7

if our repentance contains only regert, remorse, and reformation; if we are sorry not that we have misplaced our dependency, but we have lost our inner peace,.. sorry only because we have found our spirit cluded with guilt, then our repentance is not really repentance at all....

Repentance should be the law of the soul. we enter the Christian life through repentance and we imporve it the same way...

God bless

Today is 15th of June 2008. Today i learned about serving other as Jesus served others. Jesus said," Fir even the Son of Man did not come to be served , but to serve and to give life as ransom for many" Mark 10:45. The royal law in the scriputures is Love. Love is called "Royal Law" because it is the supreme law that is the source of all the laws governing human relationship..as Jesus Said,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." this is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it:"Love your neighbour as yourself." all the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments__Matt. 22:37-41. We can also see in Icorr. 13, that what ever we do but we don't have love, nothing does us no good. But before we love our neighbour we should learn to love ourself then only we can love our neighbour ourself. And then we should understand who is our neighbour?. Sharing is also a very important part of love, As Jesus Shared his body and blood with us, He shares the will of God with us. He shared blessing of God for us.
i will sum up this with a little story
Early one chilly winter morning in London during the second world war a soldier was making his way to the barrack and spotted a lad with his nose pressed against the window of a baker's shop. Inside the baker was kneading dough for a freshy supply of doughnuts. the hungry boy stared in silence watching every move The soldier walked over the shop adn stood at the side of the little boy.
Through the steamed-up window he could see the mouth-watering items that were being ulled from the oven. They watched as the baker put them in a glass enclosed counter.
The soldier's heart went out to the little boy. He said, 'Son, would u like some of those doughnuts?" He said," yes, I would"
The soldier stepped inside the shop, bought a few of the doughnuts and walked back to wher the lad was.
He smiled as he held our the bad and said simply," They are yours". He walked away but he hadn't got far when he felt a tug at his coat. He looked down and heard the child ask quietly, " MISTER, ARE YOU JESUS?"

The poems for all

You know, Lord, how i serve you,
with great emotional fervour;
in the limelight
You know how eagerly I speak to You
At a woman's club
You know how i effervesce when I promote
A fellowship group
You know my genuine enthusiasm
At a Bible study

But how would i react, i wonder,
If you pointed t a basin of water
And asked me to wash the calloused feet
Of a bent and wrinkled old woman-
Day after Day
Month after month
In a room where nobody saw
And nobody knew....
