Try to determine if the girl you are dating is a follower of Jesus or just a religious person like I used to be. If Jesus is her King and Savior, then I would continue the relationship. If not, you should put on the brakes.
I agree with Ben, you as a christian who is a fully devoted follower of Christ can not compromise your commitment to Christ. I know it is hard, but if you obey the word not to be yoked with non believers, you will have a much better life. The fact that you are asking the question shows me that you have a gut feeling that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. I have been a follower of Jesus sence I was born again Feb.16-1975 and have seen it over and over again where some one has gotten involved with an unbeliever, relationships, bussiness, and end up loosing in the end.

Stephen,
I probably have a different perspective on this now than I would have before spending several years in Northern Ireland. I believe that when we get to heaven we will be surprised by who is there and who is not. It remains my firm conviction that the Catholic denomination is a church in error. I could never in good conscience take communion in a Catholic church because I can't agree with them on so many issues. I am saying this only to qualify what I really want to say to you.
I doubt that I have to tell you that courting and relationships is a tricky business at the best of times. For you to be of one denomination and your girlfriend of another could bring some unique situations to your relationship that might turn into big problems if they are not handled wisely by both of you.
You need to pray about this and see what the Lord wants. It might turn out that she is a better Christian than you think!
Hey John, blessings from Yahashuah Idoni our Lord and Master. I would have to agree with the brothers who have commented in regards to being yoked to unbelievers. It just cannot happen and result in anything good. Take it from someone who tried it. It wont work. Either you will conform to please her or contrary. And that wont last long. If she is a true worshiper and follower of Jesus Christ The Living God then kudos. But if not, throw the switch and kill the motor dude. Pray, seek His face, and search the scriptures my brother. All glory to Jesus Christ. The Living Son of God.
Thank you so much brother. I even asked my friend, who is a Christian brother, because he too is currently into "believer/unbeliever" relationship. He defended of what he is into but I am firm with my "principle", God's principle. Though his words are so enticing and catchy but still God's principle prevails.
I am bit confuse with this issue because almost all of my Christian friends are into it.
...and so right now, I'm struggling in searching for His' words regarding this matter.
Thanks for you words guys. I really appreciate it.

Hi.
When you say that all of your friends are "into it", exactly what do you mean? Do you mean that they are all Christians and into dating unbelievers or that they are all into you dating an ubeliever?
If I recall correctly, the young woman you are talking about is Catholic, is she not?
If so, that does not automatically mean that she is not also born again. God's will and who He chooses to save is beyond our feeble understanding of right and wrong.
You have had some good advice here from your brothers, but ultimately this is between the two of you and God.
