Luk 15:8 "Or suppose a woman has ten valuable silver coins [fn] and loses one. Won't she light a lamp and look in every corner of the house and sweep every nook and cranny until she finds it?

Luk 15:9 And when she finds it, she will call in her friends and neighbors to rejoice with her because she has found her lost coin.

Luk 15:10 In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God's angels when even one sinner repents."

hello everyone this is my first time here as i just asked the lord in my life.what a great feeling it is also.i have been reading some prophecy books also like global warning.all i know is i want to be ready with god when the time comes and hope to meet others here to discuss things with and help me find my path to jesus

Hello Everyone,

I have been reading a few prophecy books, and I believe in pre-trib rapture.. But it has been strongly put on my heart, that I have not studied it for myself...I have read opinions of people, and they make sense to me.. But just because it makes sense to me, it doesn't mean it is true.. Each one of us can be very easily deceived when we don't pray for Holy Spirit revelation. I started to respond to some of these posts...but I held back because I felt Holy Spirit conviction in responding because I had not studied it myself and was accepting the interpretation of men... that is why I have not posted in a while on this topic.

I am praising God, that I have some days coming up to myself...my hubby is taking the kids on a road-trip with the boys...just a boys trip...so I am going to spend some quality time with my sweet Savior..and study the scriptures. I'm going to stay away from the opinions of men during this time...even stating that is going to be difficult.. This scripture convicted me this morning:
1 Corinthians 3:13-23

Our accomplishments ....this includes applying scripture to our lives...must be the direct result of the Holy Spirit revealing things to us. This can not come from man..

With fear and trembling, and in humility...study and pray! Share the gospel in Love and Truth. We must work hard!

Zephaniah 2:2-3 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Clarification

LUKE 16:19-31
This is not a parable v. 19, because it mention name such as Abraham, Lazarus, and Hades. It is a story used by the Saviour as an illustrative answer to the money-loving and justifying Pharisees (vv.14-15); it is a warning to them, unveiling that their future will be miserable, like that of the rich man, as a result of their rejecting of the Savior’s gospel because of their love of many
The gulf:
It divide HADES v. 26 (a place where departed spirits so. Remember there is no resurrection yet) into two sections: the pleasant section, where Abraham, Lazarus, and all the saved saints are v.22, and the section of the torment, where the rich man and all the perished sinners are (vv.22-25).
Referring to the Law of Mosesv.29 and the books of the prophets (cf.v.16), which are the word of God (Matt.4: 4). Whether on hears the word of God or not determines whether on is saved or perishes. The poor man was saved not because the poor man was poor but because he heard the word of God. (Jn. 5:24; Eph.1: 13).
The rich man perished not because he was rich but because he rejected the word of God (Acts 13:46). Note God is spirit. You are a spirit with a mind, will & emotions in a physical body. Body dies Your Spirit man is Wide AWAKE in every Way (GJRwrit) yet this is The Truth!!!
v.31 If people do not hear what the word of God says, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead. The Savior’s word here implied that if the Jews, represented by the Pharisees, did not hear the word of God spoken through Moses and the prophets in the Old Testament, they would rise from the dead. This very tragedy occurred after His resurrection (Matt. 28:11-15;Acts 13:30-40,44-45).

This is why I said what does the Scripture say not what man says Point Not even me. There is a lot of Great info on the Web but again What does the scripture say Jesus said it so clearly There is No Soul Sleep!
What does the Scripture say? II Timothy 2:15 admonishes, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

No such thing on Soul Sleep waiting for judgement! Scripture is clear!

Here here Natasha. Good word. My point exactly. Only God knows anyway, right!? We need to be about our business and commission. Jesus left us with one thing to do, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to all creatures (Mark 16:15).

Nothin wrong with voicing opinions but as long as we don't attack each other -- I agree.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ
I want to ask of all of you to not argue over who is right and wrong; how much knowledge one has as opposed to how little another; how many books were read on the subject and which ones. We should as with all other aspects of our Christian lives, allow the Spirit to guide us. I can harp on and on about the history of the church, which I'm sure for some of you must be tedious. (Not every-one can sit through and enjoy a history lesson!) But once the explanation of the churches are past I'm going to take a break from Revelation for a while to look at some of the Lord's own prophesies regarding the end-time. I do not mean the 'end of the world' end time. I mean what the world will look like according to our Lord as we approach the end. In this I will ask every-one that had been so faithful in assisting me in this group to please, please, please continue to do so, but to be extremely carefull, as I myself will be, when dealing with this subject. Let us constantly pray for one another for wisdom, for guidance, for understanding. Let us not, in our vigour to explain, in the process alienate our fellows.

Just a Thought A Question?????

How many books you have and did help you on The Book of Revelation...How many times You read this Book. Not what you find on WEB.Did you get on knees to pray or just sit with the Lord about each time you read..It took a revelation to come to Jesus as Lord to be Born-Again! Everything comes by the Holy Spirit we need Him to open the scriptures in The Revelation Book!.as well in all the Bible as we keep our heart on God...just a thought brother Glenn Robichaux
