All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others
It's all about HIM
We have been lied to and we've accepted the lie. We tend to believe that this life is about us and our happiness when that could not be farther from the truth; this life is about HIM and His death. Jesus became man and came down to earth to live among us and He willingly did so...and He willingly went to the cross to be tortured to death at the hands of men that He had created. I bow before such love. I cannot understand it. It leaves me crying....How great He is.
This world needs to know HIS greatness. The world needs to know that He is the answer to everything, everytime, always. The world needs to know that they are lost without Him. The church needs to wake up and fall back in love with Jesus. After everything that He has done for us, the only thing that we can do for Him is to give Him our lives--fully; He must be the center of everything that we are and all that we do. When we as Christians wake up and see that it's not about us, but Him...then our churches will wake up and the lost can be reached...meanwhile for those of us who have discovered that He is all there is, there is nothing more, we have a job to do: pray for the church to have an awakening and pray for the Lord to rise up workers in the field and be prepared to be one of those workers, and pray that the Lord of the harvest will send those workers forth and that the lost will open their hearts and minds to God and see Him for what He is: everything that they could ever want or need.
