Begin Your Walk with Jesus!

Your relationship with God is like a going on a long journey with Him. Many start off well but don't realize they need to keep going in order to reach their destination. If you do the following, your relationship with God will deepen and you will experience the joy of knowing him better and growing into maturity.

* Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible. You may also want to join the The Master's Miracle Grow group and follow the instructions there.

* Be baptized as Jesus commanded and obey what He tells you in His Word (Matthew 28:18-20).

* Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.

* Seek friendships with other Christians. It's critical for a growing believer to network with others who have been walking with Jesus for a long time.

This is called Christian fellowship. Develop a group of Christian friends to answer your questions and support you. That's the whole purpose of AllAboutGOD.net!

If you do these four things you'll keep growing and finish the race well!

Comment by tokey on November 19, 2008 at 5:21pm: Hello, I joined the group today and look forward to talking with you. The reason I joined was to gain strength through fellowship. My weakness, for now, is forgiving. I am sure we all have trouble with that one but I am really having trouble with it lately. God paid me a visit when I was 5 yrs old and from that point on we have walked together side by side. Although, God probably has carried me more than me walking alone. He has given me so much and has asked for very little in return, just to love him and follow him. I have done just that however, I will admit I have stumbled along the way. When ever I go off course he is always there to pull me up by my pants, gives me a shake and says "what are you doing?" Then I ask for forgiveness and promise to do better. However, the forgiveness I am in need of is forgiving others that have treated me unkind. I say I forgive but I am finding out it is getting harder for me to do. I tend to dwell on how they have hurt me and I am having a very hard time letting go. I pray the fellowship with others will give me guidance and help me with these issues. That creep has done enough to God's People. This is where we as Christians should come together, and re-claim this country back to Christ. We need Born Again Christians in Office. I mean real Christian who is not afraid to stand for Jesus. God has turned his Face on this wonderful country , because we His children has turn our backs on God. When Prayer was removed from school. We should have made our voices heard, But we didn't Now this country has gone down hill. It will get worse before it gets better. These are the End times, and we are living in perilous times, just like God said we would. Christians who say that they are Christians, but do not act on their faith, is useless. God said Faith without works is dead. America will be punished for turning their backs on God, and living in the world. I say to everyone on this post. I love you all, and I care about your souls. Everyone who says Lord, Lord will not make it into heaven. This is something to think about. Don't you think? We should start a prayer Group that prays 24 hours a day. have someone make a list of names and have them say what hour they can pray. We can do this. Jesus said could you not stay awake for one hour to pray with Me? I can't do this, but I can pray for more than an hour. have someone who knows just about everyone on this post, and set up a time they can pray. If they can't keep their time get someone to stand in for them. FAMILY? ARE YOU WITH US? Get someone to start it. Like I said I can't, because of personal reasons I love You all, and I looking forward to see how many Christians will join.

Comment by Ms. Tyras Humphrey on September 22, 2008 at 7:19pm: Well hello everyone i just joined the network a few days ago and i am raelly enjoying myself talking to my brothers and sister it feel so good to be saved i thank god for the person who created this website because we can talk to jesus evry day all day we need to fellowship at times when we are not able to get to church some days when we feel down we can pray to our heavenly father first then we can get on network and talk to our brother and sister in the body of christ . Well for me i am thirsty and hungry for the word and i am gone read, fellowship, and go to church and bible study and share my testimony to people on the network so they can know ther is a god.
