Begin Your Walk with Jesus!

Your relationship with God is like a going on a long journey with Him. Many start off well but don't realize they need to keep going in order to reach their destination. If you do the following, your relationship with God will deepen and you will experience the joy of knowing him better and growing into maturity.

* Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible. You may also want to join the The Master's Miracle Grow group and follow the instructions there.

* Be baptized as Jesus commanded and obey what He tells you in His Word (Matthew 28:18-20).

* Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.

* Seek friendships with other Christians. It's critical for a growing believer to network with others who have been walking with Jesus for a long time.

This is called Christian fellowship. Develop a group of Christian friends to answer your questions and support you. That's the whole purpose of AllAboutGOD.net!

If you do these four things you'll keep growing and finish the race well!

Here are some helpful links to study. Take some time to read a little every day:

Praise the Lord!
I loved reading your prayer my dear Brother John for it was sincere and good and am sure the Lord God Almighty heard you because of the Name of His Son, Jesus!
I think you have done this before as well, I'm not sure!
What you seem to be lacking is assurance that you have been forgiven!
Jesus Christ nailed your sins to the cross and He TOOK YOUR SINS AND YOUR SICKNESSES AWAY BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF! (Heb. 9: 26) A sacrifice involves shedding of blood.
Jesus Christ sealed our redemption by His Holy blood - Halleluyah! We have been redeemed - believe it - accept it and thank Him for it. It is written! Read the verses of Scripture (1 Peter 1: 18, 19; 1 Peter 2: 24; Rev:5: 9, 10 - these are just a few)
Though the Father has forgiven you, the enemy's hold will only be broken when you
declare that by His precious blood He sealed your redemption. The Bible says without the shedding of blood there is no remission – that is why Jesus bled and died!
Now read Rev.12: 11 and make the declaration my Brother and rejoice for Jesus Christ is alive and will make good every promise to you. God loves you and has paid a high price to make you His own child and Romans 10: & 9 says, (read it) we must believe in our heart and confess with our mouth and the Holy Spirit will make it real to you! Read also Psalm 107:2)
Take your time, read all that I have said (copy it out if necessary) understand it and give thanks for you are the redeemed of the Lord because of Calvary and not because of what you did or what you did not do!
All mankind are born sinners (big sinners or small sinners) and only the blood of Jesus cleanses them from ALL sin and makes us His children!
Let your faith rest in His Word!
I trust this will help you my Brother, the son of the Most High God!
God bless and I'll be praying for you.

I joined this group recently. I am a new Christian. I love reading your prayers. They help me to learn how to pray. I am so blessed to have found this web site and of course to have found Christ (I think he found me, though).

Lord and Holy Protector,
when Abraham and Sarah left their own land
and departed from their own people,
you kept them safe all through their journey.
Protect our children, our husbands and wives,
our mothers and fathers, and our friends and loved ones
who serve our country in times of war and conflict.
Walk by their side and calm any fear;
Be their companion and guide their thoughts;
Encircle them with your light and keep them from harm;
And when their service is ended, lead them safely home again.
For you, O God are our shelter in every storm
and our refuge in times of danger.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Oh Great, Amazing, Beautiful Abba,

You are my heart's desire. I come and bow reverently at Your mighty throne, singing praises of Your Glory. You are Beginning and the End; the Alpha and Omega. I understand and accept that I only come before Your mighty presence through Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is through His faithful sacrifice that my sins are defeated, and I am made righteous in Your beautiful eyes.Thank you, Father, for your gracious love that sustains me. I pray that this day be made into a day for Your glory. I pray for the wisdom to see the opportunities You give me, and the strength to carry out Your mighty Will. Abba, I pray for forgiveness for my trespasses, and that those I'm not aware of would be brought to my attention. That way, I may work with You in becoming even more Christ-like. Abba, pray for all those on here who, everyday, fight the spiritual battles that must be fought. I pray that we consistently turn towards You in our battle, and accept the Full Armor that You provide. For it is only in Your strength that we find our own. Abba, thank You for this day, and for the blessings You give. I pray for all of us, that we grow closer to You each and everyday. I pray that continue to abide in You, so that You may abide in us. Give us strength against the Deceiver, Abba. Let his lies fall on deaf ears. And let us continue to unite, and glorify Your name. Your will be done, Abba, not ours. In Jesus mighty name, which all names must bow. Amen.

Please pray for my uncle, as he is in the hospital and has been for over 3 months. Please pray for him to go home safely next week. I am only 13 and this has been pretty hard on my brother, sister, and I. Also, please pray for a family in my community that just lost a son last week. We are all caught up in the economical crisis and many of my friends are moving away. I will be praying for all of you. I pray that God's will be done in your life.
God bless you all,
Grace :)
