A popular bumper sticker said, "Prayer changes things" But does it really? Though the Bible reminds us to "pray continually"(1 Thess. 5:17), faithfully (Rom. 12:12) and "on all occassions" what exactly should we be praying for?

The God who Sees –

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have also here looked after him that seeth me? Genesis 16:13

God sees you as much as if there were nobody else in the world for God to look at.

The infinite mind of God is able to grasp a million objects as once, and yet to focus as much as one as if there were nothing else but that one ... as much, as entirely, as absolutely without division of sight as if you were the only being Gods hands has ever made.

Can you grasp that?

God sees you with the whole of God’s sight – YOU! You are the particular object of the Lords attention at this very moment.
AS YOU PRAY TODAY. Contemplate the thought that God sees you entirely, constantly and completely.
 Know that because the Lord sees you, God also knows your every need even before you speak it.
 Pray to see as God sees, to focus in the things that are important to the Lord.

Our God is a divine, all knowing God. We pray He will watch over us. We pray He will correct us when we move away from Him. We pray He will heal us when we come to Him for forgiveness. We pray for Him to keep us strong through His Holy Spirit in times of temptations. For we ask this through Jesus Christ,Amen

Gods Timetable
My Times are in Your hands, O LORD. Psalm 31:15

Elisha’s servant Gehazi was telling the king about a young man that Elisha had restored to life. Just then, the young man’s mother arrived in the king’s palace requesting a favour.
Conicidence? I don’t think so.
God’s timing? Definitely!
When we wait for God’s timing and then follow Gods direction, we needn’t worry that any of the doors that open to us are beyond Gods control. Our times are in God’s hands. He will bring us where need to be when we need to be there. We must only wait and walk according to God’s timetable.
AS YOU PRAY TODAY.
1)Submit your plans to God’s time table. Let God control your calendar.
2)Thank God for the times God has allowed you to be in the right place at the right time.
3)Prayerfully ask God to help you wait for God’s timing in all things.

I thank God for all the wonderful people with whom we can link on this site, and whom despite being across the globe from most of them, our prayers are one. Thank you Father, that we brothers and sisters in Christ can link through this technology, and that we can pray for one another's needs in love, all one in the Spirit. I thank you Father, in Jesus' marvellous and wonderful name. Amen Damask

God is a Powerrful force,God created all Life, God is perfect Love. If God has all the strenght and wisdom, and He tells us "ask and you will receive" does this not confirm the power of prayer: God has the power, He tells us to ask, we will receive. If we truly give up all for Him and give up our lives for Him, then what we ask for will come from the heart. Then what we will ask for is loving, caring and powerful. Then we will ask for what He blesses and He will provide. So, I pray that God will give us the wisdom to understand our needs (not wants), so that we are able to ask through Jesus Christ name,Amen

The power of prayer is immense. So often during trials we blame God for the pain and difficulties we are facing. We need to remember this in these times: often we are the ones to blame for these difficulties (as we prior to it made the wrong decision and the difficulties are thefore a result of our action) and God wants us to learn from them, at other times God is sending these difficult times towards us to have us tested and to increase our faith and trust in Him. Remember we are on the saem team as the Creator of Heaven & Earth. So If He is with us who is against us? If His power is with us, who can beat us? If He can do anything, what can He do for us? If He loves us (shown by Him sacrificing His only Son on the Cross for our sins), will He not have our best interest at heart?

Prayer: Dear Father, we come to You and praise Your glory and power, for You alone created all that has life in us and around us. Only You have the power to do anything. We come to You and ask You to strenghten us when we are weak, to carry us when we can no longer walk. We give you our bodies and "all" as they were never ours in the first place, for You gave us the breath of Life. We praise You Lord, forgive us our wrongdoings. We pray father You will teach us Your perfect Love, use us for Your grand plan, for Your purpose. For we ask You through Jesus our Saviour,Amen

SOUND ADVICE
Have you ever noticed how helpful it can be to talk with someone about something that is troubling you?

God has gifted some of God's children with discernment and the ability to be wise counselors. Their sound advice is based on God's Word and on their desire to minister in the Name of the Lord. Their words often point us in new directions or provide new perspectives to our old problems.

God has gifted us with incomparable counselors. May they hear our thanks as well as our troubles.

AS YOU PRAY TODAY
> Thank God for the wondrous care and provision through godly and wise counselors.
> Pray for supernatural discernment as counselors listen to our troubles and lead us to a resolution.
> Ask God to give you sound wisdom when someone comes to you for advice.
