Hi Marcelina,

Yes.. anytime of day! Amen!

allday... carry a small bible in your purse! (obviously the men can`t do that, but we can!) (smile)

But yes..it is important to designate a time of day to pray and study God`s word! (I find morning best--but I pick up my bible throughout the day) Find a time of day when your home is quiet and you are not distracted.

also, the more scripture you memorize, the more of God`s Word you will carry with you everywhere you go! The Holy Spirit will bring those things to mind as you need them...

Love and Blessings in Christ, Carla

Whenever possible, it is good to start your day in God's Word. That way, your mind is prepared for the challenges of the day ahead and you are thinking the thoughts of God. Please join the Miracle Grow group to learn about how to have a daily devotional time with the Lord.

I have to keep his word close to me all day long. Maybe a small Bible or just my ipod touch. So I would agree that anytime of the day is great! I feel there isn't a bad time.
May God be with you.

You read God's word whenever, wherever you want or need to. Some have set up a particular time, allowing them to clear their minds and concentrate on the Word. By doing so, you can prepare yourself for a deeper reading of the Bible. Just be careful you continue to do this in a joyful purposeful manner. If it becomes just a habit, you may end up reading the words and not hearing His voice. I tend to reach for my Bible whenever I get the chance. I carry it with me to work, so I can read at lunch. I may stay up late and read the Word once the family retires and the house is calm and quiet. I also carry a notebook, and any scripture which speaks to me, I copy down so I can refer to it as often as I want to. I hope this helps. God bless you.

Some times I don't even get to the bible. Right now I am really involved in a book called "The Greatest Life Of All JESUS. It is written by Charles Swindoll and it is a biography which is constantly refering back to scriptures. However, it takes you on this journey through His life to learn about this Man called Jesus. I like this book because whether you believe He was Who He said He was... or whether you don't.... it stirs up your curiosity about this Man called Jesus. Why were people so interested in Him back then and also today??? Of course I know who He is. I do feel like I am reading His Word in some way though when I am reading about His life. I'm not done with this book so I can't say a whole lot about it except right from the get-go it touched my heart and I started to cry.... Go figure.
