Suicide runs in the family. I lost 2 uncles due from depression,and addiction. One knew how God changed my life, but didnt accept Christ. Is he going to heaven??

I need some wisdom on this. and I want you all to be honest. Suicide is awful, I know. It is totally against what God wants. and I understand. If one of them heard of God and saw the fruit of a changed person that was in Christ,do they have a better chance that they will be in heaven?? If not. I totally understand

First I want to say my heart goes out to you and your family over the tragic loss of your loved ones.

I wish to respond with two commnets in response to your specific question.

1) Your changed life very well could have been used of Jesus to help open the eyes of your uncles to the power, love and goodness of Jesus. In fact God uses many different things to touch peoples lives. It is better to have had positive examples of true Christians than no example or a bad example. Ultimately, though, they must come in contact with the Word of God, the written Word (Bible) and the living Word (Jesus). Your uncles are either in heaven or not in heaven based on thier response to one truth. Did they individually repent and accept Jesus as their Savior in this life before this life ended?
2) Suicide is a work and salvation is a gift. The act of suicide does not disqualify one from being saved once they have repented and surrendered to Jesus in this life.

If your uncles accepted Jesus, they are there.

Must point out that Sampson asked God to give him strength one more time to kill the Philistines and HIMSELF (Judges 16:28-30). God helped Sampson commit suicide, but did not exclude him from the opportunity to accept Jesus.

I love your concern for your family. Its one value that has gradually diminished from our society. Be consoled by the fact that you showed them the way by your Christ-like life. Salvation is personal. you do not procure it for another. You can only introduce one to it.Free your self from all guilt. Heaven is the dwelling place of God and only His son,JESUS has the key for mankind to enter. Please keep spreading the message.(GOSPLE). I pray that God will increase your faith in Him to stay focused on CHRIST.You are too precious to be distracted by suicide.Jesus came that we may have life here and in eternity.

suicide is awful i would hope that they all go to heaven for what ever reason god has given some of us depression addiction allot of things that we cant control some are sicker than others all i have to say is suicide is a place we cant put our selves in less we have that sickness disease gods doors should always be open
