All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Ok, I am writing a book that involves American Christian History, and I need some opinions from various backgrounds....the question is...

In Luke 4:14-20, Jesus told those who heard Him speak in the synagogue that the prophecy in Isaiah 61:1-11, was now FULFILLED in their hearing...what did HE mean? and if what He said is true, then where and when is the Kingdom of God effective for this world?

Please give me your opinion as well as your thoughts on whether you would attend a free teleconference to discuss this topic.

Good Morning,

The promises in Isaiah 61 and Luke 4:14-21 could be considered a covenant made to the Gentile church.

There is a strong similarity between this Church covenant and the Abrahamic covenant found in Genesis. Both are to be envied. In that unlike the Mosaic covenant, neither are required to meet any demands or requirements, in order to receive the blessings promised by God.

The Kingdom of God is in the hearts of born again men and women and never the world.

I am afraid that living in South Africa, attendance at the teleconference is impossible. I do wish you success with both the conference and your book, may the Lord Bless you, as you strive in both.

Blessings.
Ron
