I am concerned when I get messages like this in my inbox This message below came from a person who is a member of All about God.
No wonder the world is in the mess it is, with so many people starving to death every day. Millions of kids on the streets with no one to love them.
So called Christians turning the Bible around so they can live the way they want and not what God wants
Time and time again they turn the Bible round to suit their way of living.
Now it is tithing and giving.
NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE does it say NOT to tithe or give. For a start there are 209 scriptures in the Bible to help the poor and needy, to give to help God’s little children.
Yes some Churches and ministers abuse tithes and spend it on fancy church buildings etc, but many spend on outreach, a band to worship God, and send some for mission work.
NO TITHES AND NO GIVING IS SPREADING AMONG CHRISTIANS I HAVE SEEN THIS WITHIN MY OWN MINISTRY. IF IT CONTINUES THERE WILL BE ONLY A VERY FEW LEFT.
GOD’S WORDS “ THE ROAD TO HEAVEN IS VERY NARROW. GOD KNEW FROM THE BEGINNING, AND IT SADDENS HIS HEART.
BELOW IS WHAT CAME IN MY IN BOX:-
The new covenant (death of Jesus Christ) has come to cancel the former commandment (commandment of tithe) because of its weakness and unprofitableness (Hebrew 7:18).
Remember when Jesus Christ was alive; the old covenant was not canceled. Mark 1: 41- 45). It was His (Jesus Christ) death stops and cancels the old covenant (Ephesians 2:15) therefore Christians people has Jesus as the Lord and saviour, are not to pay or receive tithe. The Law of tithe was cancelled by the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So if you receive or pay tithe you disrespect the death of Jesus Christ and therefore the question is are you a Christian?

Tything is a principal that God put in for us to practice which works to this day. He said' Try me" and see if I will not pour out a blessing so large you can not contain it". This is so true as I have proven in my life so many times. God's principals never change nor do His laws.

It is the HEART that the Lord knows of each man......If you are tithing or doing anything without a giving heart..then what good is it doing you or anyone......are you here to please man or the Lord............tithe with a loving and giving heart.....it is between you and the Lord....not anyone else......We don't have to tithe just at a church...we can tithe everywhere....When we give of ourselves money or time.....we are, as Christians, doing the will of God.....how you treat your fellow man is how you treat the Lord.....remember the "entertaining Angels unaware"..........When you give, GIVE.......do not worry on what will happen to what you have given.....your heart is what the Lord knows.......after you have given of it.......He also knows what the receiver is doing with it..whatever "it" might be....the Lord KNOWS every heart and the intentions of that heart..........I am not sure I explained myself very well......but then I don't string my thought with words together very well sometimes.....
Love to you in Jesus...........and if you don't know HIM...you are not living!!!!!!!

MY WIFE AND I TITH BY GIVING FOOD TO FOLKS WE KNOW NEED IT. OUR CHURCH IS FINE MONEY WISE,SO WE DO TITH.

No you do not have to tithe just to a Church, but many ministers will tell you different.
It is to do God's will where ever. You are giving to God, not any one or building. This is why there are thousand dying every day because there is not enough funds outside a church building to witness 3 billion are still un-reached after 2,000 years.
This is why there are near 27 million children on the streets un-loved and un-wanted. Have you seen some Church building, they cost thousands upon thousands to build, while millions die of starvation. THE CHURCH IS GOD'S PEOPLE.
THERE IS ONE CHURCH NOT TO SAY WHO, BUT IT HAS BILLIONS IN THE BANK WHILE GOD'S CHILDREN ARE CRYING IN PAIN

Q. Should Christians Tithe?
Christ taught that "unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt.5:20; 23:23). They tithed (Lk.18:12).
Zacchaeus gave half (Lk.19:8), the widower gave all she had (Lk.21:4) and the Corinthians were instructed to give proportionately, according to God's blessing (1 Cor.16:2). The first Christians had everything in common (Acts 2:44-45). Jesus taught that we would receive as we gave (Lk.6:38) and that our giving is really laying up treasures for ourselves in heaven (Matt.6:19-20).
