I am new to this. I am praying for God to save my husband and our marriage even though he does not want to. My question is, can God do this if it is against what my husband wants? Can one person save another person if it is against their will?

Thank you Carla,
I know deep in my heart that my husband will return not because of my will but because of His. I trust God with all my heart and it has given me such peace so that I may endure and wait patiently for His timing. I am a completely new person since I accepted Christ as my savior and I am thanking Him everyday for it.
God bless you for your encouragement. We all need to stick together, the ones of us who are going through these situations so that when we let the enemy cause doubts and fears we can fight back with the strength of numbers.
I too have a husband who is not saved.
You are saved not because you wanted to be!!!
But because God revealed himeself to you, because he called you! he softened your heart.
and THEN you made the choice.
there is scripture that relates to these things which I will find and post when I find it, but I found it great comfort to know this.
Pray that God will soften his heart, that he will reveal to your husband his true and loving nature.
Ask God to guide your steps and your speach with your husband that through your life he may see the love and the light of the grace and mercy of Jesus.
Also ask that if your husbands soul is given to satan that you put a petition forth asking in the name and authority of Jesus that it would be returned and given back to God.
The greatest works of all miracles of God is the work that he can do on the human heart!!!!
Because of your relationship with God your household (and husband) is sanctified.
Be glad because your husband because of you has every chance!
It was interesting reading your post, I am with my husband who is not yet a believer, everything is fine because he actually respects my faith. The only problem is with my payment of 10% of my income as tithe to the church, This is currently causing disagreements between us.
I have prayed for the Lord to grant me wisdom in dealing with this. comments and advice will be appreciated.
Dora, I understand your plight. You want to be obedient to the Lord with your tithing and it's causing strife between you and your husband because he's not yet saved. But be assured, God wants your marriage to be a joyful one, and He definitely wants your husband saved!
If you were to read my short book, "A Joyful Marriage Fortress" you will have God's answer to restoring your marriage to one that is joy-filled and one that is likely to lead your husband to the Lord as well. Or if you don't mind reading it online, I'd be happy to email it to you for free!
Continue to pray for your husband to be saved. God granted us a apecial gift, the gift of choice, but through prayer and supplication make your petions known unto God. He may soften your husband heart to what the Lord may be calling Him to do. But Ultimately, It your husbands individual choice. Our father is a gentlemen, He will not force His way into anyones heart. It is our individual choice...God Bless.
Definitely, so anointing all spiritual words here and all prayers are answered by Worthy God. I thank God for the opportunity to read all replies here and it is set by His will.
May God's righteous hands anoint your husband dear Patience, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. Amen. To God be the glory forever.
