All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

We are call to the ministry of prayer in this endtime.we have been preaching and teaching throughout and yet the preachers and their family are still unsaved, many preachers compromise the real message of the cross for self aggrandisement. The nations yet playing religion, even the church is still struggling to manifest God's power, which ought not to be so,many so call preachers, prophets proclaims falls revelation and because of this the warth of God is kindle against the church, for aposple Peter said"we should not forget that the judgement of God will starts in the church".So my brethrens we have no excuse neither should we be writing theology to accomdate our tragedies. We most admit with what is going around the world and the media, that we have not done well.I had an encounter with the Lord and what He showed me was hell.Remember.Jesus said"Not everyone who says to me Lord,Lord shall inherit the kingdom of the Father but they that doeth the will of His Father who is in heaven"Mt 7:21.You can read the end of the verses to understand that we need a real foundation of prayer and intercession for the body of Christ,Let us rise up in Prayer for that is the will of God for the now

Yesterday I taught a class on The harvest of the Earth. Revelation chapter 14:14-20.
Looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one "like a son of man" with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.
Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, "Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."
So he that was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, "Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth's vine, because its grapes are ripe."
The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia [which is about 180 miles].

You will notice the first harvest is a harvest of wheat. It is cut with a sickle, and it is a separation of the true wheat from the false-looking wheat (darnel is literally the word, "the tares of the field"). Darnel looks like wheat at first, but it is not.

I believe this is where judgment begins in the church of Jesus Christ. I had a Pastor come up to me and ask me to pray that He would get some saved people into his church. When God shows up in our churches it will seem like His wrath is being poured out because that church is filled with people that do not really know the Lord.
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:21-23)
These three verses in the book of Matthew are probably some of the most troubling scriptures to many. These words describe many in the Body of Christ, who at face value, are seemingly doing all the right things, yet at death are refused entrance into the eternal reward of the righteous.
Notice that the Judgment is about our relationship with Jesus. He said I never knew you. I think it greaves the heart of God when we do not help people to really come to know the Lord as revealed in scripture.

These are good thoughts, from both of you! There is nothing much left in this world that I am afraid of, but the thought that I might get to heaven only to be told "I never knew you," terrifies me. We take our faith so lightly sometimes... we assume that because we once prayed a prayer we are "safe"... and then we continue to walk the wide path of destruction. I think it is so important that we each examine our lives, and ask ourselves what kind of fruit are we producing? If we arent producing any fruit at all, or we're producing bitter fruits, we may need to take a hard look at the root of our faith, and make SURE we are grafted on to the right vine, the Living Vine!

This is a wonderful discussion and leaves us all to do as you say! Look hard at our own selves; continue to stay close to Jesus every minute of the day. Which is in deed a very hard task. At yes it does make you worry. Have i known the Lord in the way he wants me to know him? I try to pray and speak with him througout the day. Sometimes we get really rushed at work and inpatient, and we let our minds go to only the task at hand. This I know for myself to be one of the areas I need to work on; bedsides others; however this is one that is very obvious to me when my work day ends, and I feel I didn't quite measure up or please the Lord the way I should have. So we must be preparing every minute of the day. Thanks for your messages here. In Jesus Christ. Mandy

I was talking to a friend yesterday about prayer; she was worried that she wasn’t praying correctly.
I told her that God listens to her heart more than he listens to her words.
One word is all that is needed sometimes prayed in the name of Jesus.
We need to understand that prayer is more than just words. Just like communication between people.
A lot of communication goes on, that isn’t expressed by words.
I am not saying that I do not believe in prayer, but I believe we can pray by shedding tears, by lifting our hands, by kneeling, by lying on our faces before him, by singing to Him, by looking up, by smiling to him, by sitting quietly before him, by simply saying a word that expresses our heart etc... We are told to pray with out ceasing; this is how we can do this in our practical every day life.
