A Special Request

Can I please ask all my friends to intercede for my spiritual father and mentor, Frans Swanepoel. He had an operation to remove tumors on his colon, he is going back for surgery tomorrow to remove the appendix and concretion that grows on the colon. Due to all this operations is he very weak.
I know that God is the ultimate Healer, but I need more to stand with me in agreement.

Thanks my son can always rely on your prayers. Ya he and his wife is very dear to me, was learnig a lot from them and still they are very special to me. His wife is the ultimate example of how woman should behave and he is the caring loving father, who discipline when needed but is always loving!

Sonia thanks so much for your uplifting message. I am still waiting for the test results of the tumors (polyps) to be returned, I trust that all be negative and no sign of cancer.It must be hard for you losing your husband. Losing someone never becomes better, for you always have that missing feeling in your heart. But you are using your experience in the past to be a blessing to others.

How are you holding up sweetie?
Lean on the strong shoulder of the Lord. Oh, He is there with you and Frans. He is soo faithful and trustworthy to hear you and work His great plan for you and for Frans. Your faith in the Lord is soo great Nienie. You amaze me. Your faith in itself could move a mountain. The messages you leave me, and all the rest here at TheNet are such a big blessing. Every time you help me, I praise God for you and your unconditional love. I see Christ in you, and iM sure alot has to do with Frans being your spiritual father, right? I wish I was blessed with one. I was never close to my dad. When I came to Christ in 2002, he got cancer, and died in 2004. Two months before my son, his first grandson, was born. It hurt and it hurt greatly. But I felt peace because after I came to Christ, I forgave my father for all he did to me and gave him love the best way I knew how because he was my only dad, I knew he was sick with alcoholism, and I wanted to have some kind of realtionship with him before he died. Im at peace because I did what I did. No regret. You are soo blessed to have a spritual father, and if it is his time, it will be his time, but at least you will be at peace knowing where he will be and the glorious reward and home Frans will recieve when he is face to face with the almighty. Right?

My dear Paige thank you so much. It is so tragic if you haven't have a relationship with your dad.what a wonderful thing to know that you forgave him for what he did, for in forgiveness is freedom. it is so sad that so many chodlren havn't got any relationships with their dad's and i believe that it is the foundation for a relationship with God, for a child normally when they are older, compare God with their earthly fathers. although there are no comparison. I trust that our Father becomes to you the Father that you never had, who is true in all He says and does, and He loves you with an everlasting love!!!I pray that He will provide to you a spiritual father and mentor where you can learn from.

My dear and special friends. Here on resurrection sunday it is my priviledge to let you know that my spiritual father and mentor are back home and on his way to recovery. All the glory to God!! He just shows us again that HE is alive and risen and that He can heal our souls, bodies and minds!! I thank you all for your prayers but most of all to our Almighty who is the first and the last, and that He gave us the priviledge to have more time with a loved one!
